Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/12/2012Rival mobs of protesters clashed in Tahrir Square in Cairo today. Secularist demonstrators fought it out with Muslim Brotherhood supporters using rocks, bottles, clubs and other weapons. Hundreds of people were injured, and about a hundred were hospitalized.

In other news, the European Union was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Meanwhile, Turkey has been amassing tanks along its border with Syria.
