BF/EDL Press Conference

As mentioned in an earlier post, Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll of the English Defence League joined the British Freedom Party as joint vice-chairmen on May 5, 2012.

The video below was recorded last Saturday at the press conference held by Tommy Robinson, Kevin Carroll, and Paul Weston, the Chairman of the British Freedom Party.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this video:

What a fantastic idea. I wish you lots and lots of luck. The working class plus the middle class...what a winning combination. At the end of the video you were talking about the need for equality before the law. In NZ we call it "One Law for All" and the only politician that we had willing to raise it as an issue did not get voted in last election and is portrayed as "far right wing". We live in an upside down world where black is white and truth is lies. It seems to be infecting all western countries.. I am glad you are fighting the intolerance of Islam, England needs to be saved from Sharia before it is too late.

The frustrations of Tommy and Kev are evident, and if any of the journalists there were to investigate properly, they'd soon find out what they're so frustrated about.

In any functioning democracy, the law is applied equally, but what Tommy and Kev are describing sounds more like Germany in the late 30s. Say the wrong thing, disagree with government policy, put your own individual sense of morality above the groupthink demanded by the political bureaucracy who think they are in charge of your community, and you're in trouble.

It's quite shocking, and we can be thankful that there are brave people like Paul, Kev and Tommy who are willing to stand up, and speak the truth.

Benjamin of Wight--

What "charta" are you refering to?

The "Love a Homosexual pervert" one. More moral relativism.

Tommy should be the vice chairman. Kevin is passionate and a good guy, but he is not as articulate as Tommy and Paul Weston.
