The Left-Wing Media Filter

Circus Breivik

The guardians of Norwegian “justice” overseeing the trial of Anders Behring Breivik have decided it’s safe to broadcast the testimony of Øyvind Strømmen directly to the public, but not that of Bruce Bawer and Fjordman, whose words will have to be filtered by loyal media lapdogs first.

The Oslo court has destroyed what little credibility it had left with this nakedly political decision.

Many thanks to our Norwegian correspondent The Observer for translating this article from Document.no:

The peculiar practice of explaining and giving evidence

The court has decided that the testimony of the experts witnesses subpoenaed by the defense, such as the testimony of Øyvind Strømmen, Lars Gule and Matthias Gardell, can be broadcast, but not the testimony of Bruce Bawer and Ole Jørgen Anfindsen.

This basically means that so-called expert witnesses and political activists will have the opportunity to give their personal assessments of political opponents directly to the public, while those whom they criticize, in this case Mr. Bawer and Mr. Anfindsen, are not granted this privilege. Mr. Bawer and Mr. Anfindsen have to rely on journalists who are critical and even hostile to their political views to correctly report their testimony.

The explanation that the court has chosen to justify such a decision with is that it fears that Anders Behring Breivik will seize the opportunity to make offensive remarks during the testimony of Mr. Bawer and Mr. Anfindsen.

The court has decided that the media will be allowed to broadcast the testimony of the following expert witnesses:

  • Øyvind Strømmen (31 May)
  • Terje Emberland (31 May)
  • Tore Bjørgo (31 May)
  • Frank Aarebrot (June 1)
  • Brynjar Lia (June 1)
  • Lars Gule (June 1)
  • Hanne Nabintu Herland (1 June)
  • Mattias Gardell (4th June)
  • Einar Øvereng (5th June)
  • Ulrik Fredrik Malt (June 8)
  • Svenn Torgersen (June 8)
  • Pål Grøndahl (June 11)
  • Einar Kringlen (June 11)
  • Tarjei Rygnestad (18 June)
  • Karl Heinrik Melle (18 June).

[Note from the Baron: I recognize only four of those names, but I’ll wager that our Norwegian readers can fill in some of the other bios. I know that Hanne Nabintu Herland is no friend of Multiculturalism; the other three are lefties.]

Whereas evidence from the political community will not be allowed to be broadcast:

“The court therefore believes it would be unwise to allow the broadcast of the remaining testimony as long as the defendant’s statements are not allowed to be broadcast. The remaining witnesses are for the most part police officers, health professionals, politicians and private individuals who will give evidence concerning the investigation, treatment and observation of the defendant, politics directly or indirectly connected with the defendant via, among others, the extreme right-wing community. Such testimony will typically have the potential to give rise to statements by the defendant. On this basis, the remaining testimony is not permitted to be broadcast.”

The Breivik trial is now patently a show trial.

Taking back the Maltese Cross

Summer medieval festival in Oslo won't let Breivik monopolize the Maltese Cross, reclaiming it for use at their festival.

Their way of expressing themselves leaves some doubt as to the depths of their knowledge about the knights and their business. Would they possibly see some new connections and dimensions if they went deeper into the history?

There probably are some blank pages about the subject in those history books used in the schools, even more now than ever before.

Unfortunately for the organisers of this festival the public might look into the matter and find out things.

Hanne Nabintu Herland has stated clearly, several days ago that she does not want to meet as a witness.

Today's news says that the police may take her to the court leaving her with no choice.

Mattias Gardell was also on board the Mavi Marmara...

He has written several books. One of them about Louis Farrakhan and The Nation of Islam.

Guess that sums it up.

The way the media, the judges and the politicians are treating this case is a vast study in itself, tragically telling about a once healthy society.

We need to begin by working upon memories
"To be a European Muslim"

"We need to begin by working upon memories. From the Middle Ages, Islam has participated in the building of a European consciousness in the same way that Judaism or Christianity has. From Shakespeare to Hume, the influences of Islamic civilisation on the literary and philosophical traditions of the time are innumerable. Horizons need to be broadened through the study of these sources, which should be included in the teaching curricula at both secondary and university levels."

Oslo Symposium, 2007
"
European Unity as a Challenge to Religious Communities"

The above statement is from The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters symposium in 2007, with special guest Tariq Ramadan.

"A new We", idea also from the same

"European societies will not win the battle against social insecurity, violence and drugs through the sole security-based approach. What we need in our communities are social institutions, civic education, local job-creation, and confidence-building policies."

Since 2007, we are seeing this, with ever more taxpayers' money put in to fund "local job-creation, and confidence-building policies", etc.

Area lift

In East Oslo, from where Norwegians are fleeing, ever more money is being spent to upgrade - these muslim - areas.

In earlier times, Norwegian neighbors would work together, for free - dugnad - to upgrade and keep tidy their common exterior areas.

In short, this Ramadan document is explaining how to do away with Europeans and European history!

- A study in
aggressive infiltration

The Brotherhood's Project

"Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world;
Balancing international objectives with local flexibility;

Building extensive social networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamist ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant;

Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions;

Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam; "

This is beginning to look more and more like the trial of Nikola Petkoff in 1947 when the Bulgarian communist party denied the defendant the opportunity to address the court "as it would serve no useful purpose."

The Communists hung Petkoff.

Summer Medieval Festival
Oslo 16-17 June 2012

Thorvald Steen, author, working to install an href="http://www.klassekampen.no/55743/article/item/null/vil-ha-internasjonal-saladindag">international Saladin Day, meanwhile organizing The Saladin Days in Norway, now is involved in the medieval festival, which must have started as an innocent fascination for the vikings and viking costumes, and the traces left by them in the capital.

This summer, there will be
focus on the crusades based on Steen's participation.

This year's festival may have the potential to be a huge propaganda fest on the background of last year's drama in Oslo.

Steen is the author of the anti-Richard Lionheart novel, "Løvehjerte", about "the real Lionheart"

"History is dangerously exciting", claims the front page

Breivik announces another attack
Specifying that it will take place in one year and three months

Police: How can we prove that something doesn't exist

Herland as witness
After all, now it turns out that she may not be obliged to show up in court as a witness, as she doesn't have status as an ordinary witness.

Defending lawyer Lippestad still thinks it shouldn't be so hard for her to just show up and talk about her knowlege in the field in question, according to Dagbladet

Breivik actually said 15 months after HIS attack there would be another one , that places it in October this year.

I also read that the court would love to grill Fjordman but cannot force him to witness as he now lives more than 80 norwegian miles away from the court in Oslo.

His real name is used in every setting possible.

The leftists are fighting imaginary windmills

- Claiming that Breivik is a right-wing fascist, and a nazi
- Claiming that Eurabia is just a theory and has nothing to do with reality
- Denying that the media is part of the Eurabia project by not talking about the plan, and by naming the people who point out the plan as right-wing extremists

VG is confirming all this by today's report from the court

- It is all totally absurd how they refuse to see the facts, trying to cover up what is clear for everyone to see and read

The words
Galileo Galilei is said to have muttered at the time when The Inquisition refused to acknowledge Galilei's research condemning him to house arrest in 1633.

Only in 1992, The Pope, acknowledged that it was wrong to convict Galileo.

GOV had the same thought in 2010, referring to Geert Wilders case.

Destroying the existing culture

Today's Damascus once was a Christian city in a Christian land
- What happened?

Oslo once was a Christian city in a Cristian state...
- What happened?
- What is going on?

From the court 31 May 2012, Oslo

"Breivik has explained as a background for his actions, that he wants to save Norway from destruction"

Witness Emberland reponds to Prosecutor Holden's question in Oslo court today:

"The idea of a conspiracy, a secret plan, a controlled conspiracy to destroy the existing (prevailing) culture. We are facing the cliff, which is wanted by some.

The second, is the civil war this will lead to, which will pave the way for a new world order. This is what we, within research, call the main elements in a fascist way of thinking, says Emberland."

Robert Mood, UN in Syria, says that he once fell in love with Damascus, one of the oldest cities in the world. That was before today's ongoing drama in Syria.

Why aren't Christian cities in the Middle East, Christian cities anymore? What happened?

Which, exactly, are the parallels to Norway, and today's Oslo, as well as the rest of The West?

What is - still - going on?

Muslims in North Norway
implement Saudi ramadan fatwa

Since the midnight sun hardly sets in the Arctic during 20 July through 20 August, to avoid fasting longer than 23 hours a day, imams in North Norway have decided to implement the fatwa by the Saudi-Arab mufti Dr Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Almosleh regarding "prayer" and fasting hours in Arctic areas.

This fatwa will be valid until further notice, as a Turkish delegation is looking closer into the matter on the ground, and their work will be published accordingly.
