Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/22/2010

Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/22/2010In the wake of France’s decision to expel criminal Roma, Pope Benedict XVI has spoken out. He has asked the French to be tolerant, and to welcome people from different backgrounds, citing Christ as an example.

In other news, the new “Miriam” flotilla has delayed its departure from Lebanon after being denied permission to sail from Cyprus to Gaza. Ships may not legally travel directly from Lebanon to destinations in Israel, and the flotilla organizers had planned to use Cyprus as an intermediate port. They say they are not giving up, and will find another way.

You wouldnt think that Pope Bennie would be so wishy washy, given his previous writings and history within the Catholic Church before Popedom.

First the Roma then the North Africans and other assorted Muslims, one can only hope.

No link but this is roughly transcribed from a print newspaper:

In Aberdeen, Pakistani Mohammed Amir was found guilty of attacking his girlfriend, threatening to stab a taxi driver who tried to intervene in the altercation and for the racist abuse he directed against the arresting officers.

Upon being apprehended by the police, he is reported to have shouted: "I'm going to kill 20 of you and blow you to bits. F**k you, you haggis-munching ginger bastards. I'm going to bomb you white f**kers."

Re: new “Miriam” flotilla

According to my Globe of the World, it is not difficult to go down past Saudi Arabia, turn left at Yemen and back up to the Gulf of Oman - and Pakistan, which currently requires these goods much more than Gaza does.

Of course, we all know that the muslim credo states that allah sends the floods and that Pakistan is only fighting hunger and death while the people of Gaza are fighting the Jews!
