Gates of Vienna News Feed 4/20/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 4/20/2011The Missouri House of Representatives passed a bill today that bans the recognition of sharia law in state courts. The bill does not specify sharia or any national law, but refers merely to “foreign” law. The fate of a similar bill in the state senate is uncertain. Missouri Muslims criticized the law, and urged people to learn more about sharia before condemning it.

In other news, a Turkish-German TV actress named Sila Sahin has caused outrage among her fellow Muslims by posing nude for the German edition of Playboy. She says that she did it to set an example for other Muslim women and to help liberate them from the oppressive strictures of Islam.

I would be more aroused if she disrobed and denuded herself of Islam. Besides, virtually any Western raiment which modern Western females wear is unacceptable to purist (i.e., irrefutably-to-"moderate Muslims" normative) Islam. If Sayyid Qutb could be fanatically outraged by the attire and behavior of American women in the 1940s at a sockhop in Arkansas, for Allah's sake (and far too many Muslims have the same mentality now in 2011 as he did in the 1940s), then a simple t-shirt and denim shorts (let alone even more demure apparel) is equivalent in Islam to a bared breast.

I've taken the advice of the Islamists and learned more about Sharia Law. But the more I learn about it, the more I condemn it.

So, yes, Islamists. Please continue your efforts of educating the West on your Sharia. People really need to know what it is really all about before they jump to any conclusion one way or the other.

The parts I specifically like are the parts that talk about the morality of lying to your enemies, and subjugating them. Killing and murdering non-Islamists as your means of gaining favor with your god.

And that thing about honor killings of your wives and daughters, yeah that is pretty important also.

I meant to comment on this also.

Now... let me get this straight.

She is liberating herself of Oppressive Islam by embracing Secular Hedonism?

I'm pretty sure the respect that Pornographic Hedonism shows for women isn't any better than what women experience under the tyranny of Islam.

So what this really is, is a power play by an Islamic female thumbing her noes at the Islamic male, and getting paid to do it.

Parallels the women's rights movement here in the West. And one of the reasons pornography and the degradation of women and children that followed, has become one of our greatest industries, of late.
