Kevin Carroll Talks to the BBC

Update: Tommy Robinson now reports that Kevin Carroll does not think any shots were fired. There have been reports from others in the area who think they heard shots, but these are unconfirmed.

Update: A report posted on the BBC website:

Attack on EDL man’s Luton home probed

Reports of an attack on the home of a leading English Defence League (EDL) member are being investigated by police in Bedfordshire.

Officers were called to Kevin Carroll’s home in Bolingbroke Road, Luton, late on Thursday after reports an object was thrown against the window of the house.

Mr Carroll said he went to investigate and saw a man who appeared to be holding a shotgun. No shots were fired.

Officers carried out a search of the area, but no offender was found.

Police said they were trying to establish what happened and wanted to talk to anyone who saw anything suspicious.

Baron:

BBC reported something different than what was posted on the EDL site.

BBC says:

The BBC article indicated no shots were fired. The EDL Extra reported "several shots" in its initial post. In the BBC3 audio, Kevin Carroll does not state whether or not there were any shots.

Someone should contact Kevin Carroll directly and get the story straight.

One anti-EDL "diversity" blogger at the Hope not Hate blog has already pounced on the discrepancy.

("One wonders how said blogger learned about the incident so soon...?")

It would be best, I believe, for the correct information to get out there ASAP, and to make sure that the EDL site is correct.

Nice one BBC!
Thanks for publishing his address!! Maybe you can get more scum to attempt to kill him!

The EDL needs some new tactics instead of just getting into shouting matches with Muslims (although that is necessary as well). It doesn't play well on TV. What I would do is to try and get the point across better. For example, show up in a town center with a cardboard mock fence. Form the fence into a circle and sit in the middle passively. Put a sign on the fence in large letters saying "Ethnic English wildlife preserve (formerly known as England)." Then just wait for the police or AFL to tear the fence down and drive you away and film it. That will make the point. And be sure to have women in the circle with you! Maybe wear historical costumes from different periods of English history to draw attention.

When the IRA were operating at full blast I don't remember the BBC ever stating "Mr Jerry Adams, who resides at 11 Paddywack Avenue....nor do I remember ever seeing an address for any Islamic fundamentalist trouble maker.

Providing the address of an opponent of Islamic imperialism in the full knowledge that Muslims can and do kill their critics, will make the BBC complicit in his murder should Mr Carroll be killed in the future.

It is hard to describe the hatred and revulsion I feel for the BBC at times like this.

Paul, would it be possible for Kev to bring charges against the BBC for breach of privacy and/or endangerment?

It's not like he doesn't have a valid cause for fear of assault in his situation.

I know that because he's a white native,he's not supposed to be the one under threat, but the language of the laws should be neutral enough to consider it.

Our laws here are selectively applied, even if they are written in such a way that they could be applied for anyone, regardless of colour.

Nilk, I am not sure. Apparently Mr Carroll's name and address is in the public domain after leaked documents prior to the BBC report.

So the BBC is probably legally ok, even if morally they are complicit. One thing is for sure - if Mr Carroll was killed and it transpired the killer used the BBC address, then it would be treble whiskies all round at BBC HQ, where those lovely liberal elites have no qualms over murder, provided the victim is of the incorrect political class.

Kevin living at Hollingbroke road in Luton is doubtless something everyone needs to know in Mubarak-style Britain.

I complained to the beeb about publishing his address yesterday and received this response in my morning mail:

Dear Mr Goodier,

Thank you for contacting the BBC News Website.

We think very carefully about the details we put in our stories,
particularly as they relate to victims of crime. In this instance, the
police specifically asked for witnesses in the area, therefore it is
important the area is identified.

its very easy to find a persons address in Britain, all you have to do is go to the nearest post office and ask to see the voters register they have to show it too you by law.
All you have to do then is go through it Street by street until you find the name you are looking for. Very simple really.
