Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/17/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/17/2011Hizb ut-Tahrir has weighed in on the violence and unrest in Tunisia: it says that the country needs more than regime change; it requires Khilafah — the Caliphate. In a related story, deposed Tunisian President Ben Ali is rumored to have taken 1.5 tons of gold into exile with him, at the insistence of his wife.

In other news, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of Italy strenuously denied that he ever engaged the services of a professional escort — he said he’s never paid for it in his life. To underscore his point, he told the press he has a new girlfriend.

Canadians beware-- to welcome Islam is to embrace absolute chaos.

Oh, so that's what we're calling them now.
Read it: Muslim, Muslim and Muslim.
Read the victims as: indigenous, British, white, secular or Christian.
If the news source refuses to tell the truth, let them risk the public assigning it their own inductively based version of it.

Oh, yes and if the victims don't fall into those categories, make sure to include Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Pagan or other.
Non-Muslim will do. That would be the most honest styling of them.
