Fjordman: Why We Need Germany

Fjordman’s latest essay has been posted at the Brussels Journal. Some excerpts are below:

I’m tired of people who are busy losing this world war because they are still obsessed with the pfrevious one, which ended generations ago. Anti-Nazism has mutated into a permanent witch-hunt on an imaginary enemy. The notion that “neo-Nazis” constitute a prominent group today is nonsense. The most dangerous people by far are those running the European Union, who are busy dismantling European civilization and enlarging the borders of the EU to include the Middle East and North Africa, thus flooding their own countries with tens of millions of Muslims and other hostile aliens without consulting the native population. This makes the EU the largest criminal entity on the planet, preoccupied with destroying an entire continent, dismantling the greatest civilization that has ever existed and replacing the native population with others. I have described this in my book Defeating Eurabia , which is available online.

Next to the EU, the most dangerous people are the Leftists all over the Western world who are waging a Jihad to destroy their own civilization and have teamed up with Muslims to achieve this goal. Unlike neo-Nazis, these people are not only far more numerous but socially accepted and disproportionately represented in the media and the education system, where they systematically silence “racist” dissenters by destroying their livelihoods and reputations. They use an imaginary “far-Right” threat to crush people they don’t like. According to Dr Aidan Rankin, “anti-Fascism” is the new Fascism. The so-called anti-racists and Multiculturalists are aggressors with totalitarian leanings; the people they unfairly attack are victims of a failed social experiment and one of the greatest betrayals in history.

I am aware of the fact that there are anti-German feelings still prevalent in some quarters, but I do not share these feelings. My country was once occupied by Nazi Germany, but I see no rational reason to blame young Germans for this. I realize that the situation today is radically different from what it was back then, and I derive no pleasure from seeing Germans being humiliated at home by members of backward tribes. The entire European continent is now under siege. The groups who insult and harass the inhabitants of Berlin and Hamburg do the same in Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, London, Rome and Athens. Germans are not “Nazis” or “extremists” if they say that they do not want more Muslim immigration, period; they are merely exercising their right to retain their own land and shape their destiny as a people. Germans do have that right, just as much as Thais, Indians, Kenyans, Frenchmen and Italians do. Those who say otherwise are evil and should be denounced as such.

Europe is not complete without German culture. There is nothing that can be done about the past so we need to concentrate on the future. There is no reason to single out the Germans as the bad guys this time around. They now have a golden opportunity to redeem themselves and play a positive role as defenders of European civilization, something which their population size and historical achievements entitle them to.

If anything, precisely because of her history, Germany has an even greater responsibility than others to stop the spread of Jew hatred that follows inevitably from Muslim immigration. The defenders of Multiculturalism are directly responsible for the current spread of Nazi-like ideologies in the Western world and are shameless hypocrites for claiming otherwise. Opposition to Islamization in Germany is good not just for Germany, but for Europe. For this reason, we should support the Anti-Islamization Congress in Cologne on May 9th.

German history is at least 2000 years old. The Nazi era composed (20/2000)x100 = 1% of the total duration of German civilization. Germans today have utterly repudiated Nazism, which begs the question, "Why is it still used as a cudgel against Germans who don't want to see their civilization transformed into an Arabized dump?" The answer, I think, amounts to nothing more than anti-German racism.

As a thought experiment, consider whether these Antifa thugs and their EU enablers would object to some African country being flooded with non-Africans to the point where it utterly swamped the native culture? Of course they would. Of course they would object to Tibet being flooded with non-Tibetans. But the Germans are not afforded the same benefit, despite the numerous gifts German civilization has given to the world.

These leftists/Antifa thugs/EU enablers keep focusing on the minute and parenthetical period of German history known as "The Third Reich" because they hate Germans. The same is true of German Antifas - what loathsome creatures.

I can only congratulate Fjordman for using the exact right descriptor: EVIL.

Both Islam and it's handlers are the face of abject evil in this world. There is no other word for it.

Having spent several weeks in Germany last year during two separate business trips I, too, can say that the time is over for spanking Germany about WWII.

Akin to Fjordman, I grew up in a half-Danish household whose anti-German sentiments were rather strong. My mother's entire family narrowly survived the Nazi occupation of Copenhagen. It is a huge relief to have these ancient hostilities shattered by the reality of modern Germany.

I'm happy to note that I've already said this exact same thing here at GoV ever since returning from my first trip.

A militarily strong and reunited Germany is one of the very best things that can happen for Europe. The German culture's resurgence from being reunited might well have a catalytic effect upon other European nations. At this point, ANYTHING that reawakens European pride and nationalism is a GOOD THING.

I must also applaud Germany for maintaining a strong industrial base. Even while so many other European countries are turning themselves into little more than tourist destinations, Germany is still BUILDING things. America could take a lesson from such a strong industrial model.

Lastly, as to all the neo-Nazi bull's pizzle:

AMERICA PROBABLY HAS MORE NEO-NAZIS PER CAPITA THAN GERMANY.

Let that drive a final stake through the heart of any fears about re-emerging German Nazism.

If anything, the Germans are so pertrified about lingering external anti-Nazi sentiment that they overcompensate by neutering themselves with respect to necessary military build up.

In the very near future, this world may suddenly find itself extremely glad that Germany and Japan have become active nuclear powers in their respective roles as push-back against European Islamicization and communist Chinese aggression in the Far East.

Geert Wilders calls for a stop of Muslim immigration, and much moreAll things come to an end. Civilisations arise and then die. Death is natural consequence of life. And just like there are worse ways to meet an end, so it is with civilisations. Death of civilisation at the hands of Islam, is the worst of all types of death, as it is a living death with the worst features of barbarism.

Geert wilders lays out a clear path for all countries that are threatened with extinction by Islam

The Marxist Left and Islam have many points in common

1. They both hanker for a global government - world government in the case of Marxists, the Calliphate for Muslims.

2. Both systems adulate a "great" leader - Stalin or Lenin type for Marxists, a caliph or an ayatollah, in the case for Muslims

3. Both systems detest individuality.

4. Both systems hate Christianity as it puts the individual at the centre, while separating his duty to the state from his belief. Neither the Marxists or Islam can tolerate such a separation. For both, the ideology/belief, and the state, are one and the same.

For either one to succeed, they both need to first destroy Christianity- the faith that lies at the foundation of Western civilisation, and still serves as the model for developing nations. Only after the destruction of Christianity can they proceed to tear each other over the remains.

As the EU is dominated by the Left (they call themselves socialists), it is not hard to see why the EU wishes to incorporate the ME and Africa. The policy serves in the destruction of Christianity, as well as setting up an embroyo world government. Islam is doing the same in Africa and Europe - persecuting and killing Christians in Africa, and expanding by population growth in Europe.

AntiGerman racism is largely allowed or tolerated in modern Germany. The immigrants know it and never miss the opportunity to call the Germans "nazis" or "Scheissdeutche" in public. The leftists may even love it, I hate it.

In fact - we non-Germans - have a powerful key to tell the Germans - "defend yourselves, we support you".

The German antifa movement utterly missed the point - they support muslims, the modern fascists.

Maybe we should create some Pro-german international movement to point this out and "j´accuse" the antifa - declare their moral bankrupcy.

The Germans might appreciate our sense of humour. Let us say - we want Germans to be free. Generally we love free people or people asking for more freedom.

It is interesting that something is still left to do - the Final Liberation of the Free Germans. We need some Germanwatch to tell them to feel like us. They will love it.

Fjordman,

we need everybody. You never know what might be the decisive strategic asset.

It might look marginal, but we are people of wisdom and knowledge and we search everywhere.

For some people Germany might be marginal, for others Kazakhstan etc.

But we do not care, everybody is of interest. We might be able to garrison even few people from the middle of the islamic hell. Highly knowledgeble, imagine that.

Those might be more fed up than us.
They need a stage. That´s all.

And how do you "get" Germany, Fjordman?

By destroying the EU and letting Germany morph into either 1) a PC state where Muslims take over, and then impose their rule upon the smaller nations of Europe such as Denmark and the Netherlands; or 2) an aggressively nationalistic German state that imposes its own version of the 1,000 year Reich on the smaller nations of Europe such as Denmark and the Netherlands.

Or by working to strengthen and take over the EU and use it to promote the European subcontinent against its enemies, military, cultural and demographic, and keeping Germany firmly within a larger European orbit?

Germany is a great reason why Europe needs a stronger EU on the right path, not a return to the nation-state madness of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Germany is definitely unable of any physical imperialism in its current state, and 30 years from now. Probably not just 30 years from now, but forever. The demographic structure of the country does not allow that. Mobs of pensioners cannot wage wars, they demand pensions and healthcare instead.

Frankly, the era of German might is over, just like the era of Spanish or Greek or Mongol might. No more. In 1914, there were 6 children per woman in Germany; these days, fifth of that. No one is really willing to send their only child to death in order to control foreign territory, while 1 in 6 children, that would be another deal (see Africa, see Yemen, see Gaza, see Eastern Timor...). And note that current East Germany is emptying fast, so lack of territory is not a concern; rather, excess thereof.

They may have a chance to maintain their cultural identity and independence yet, though.

Of course, my above comment may be totally invalidated if the future wars will be led entirely by machines. But even in such situation, machines are expensive and they would cut to the pension budget too much.
