Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/6/2011Greece is blaming the ratings agencies for their persistently gloomy view on the country’s risk of default. The Greek foreign minister considers the agencies’ evaluation “madness”. Meanwhile, Portugal has seen its rating drop again as analysts conclude that the country will most likely require another bailout. And Spain is talking up the likelihood that it will not need its full tranche of ECB loans, in hopes of avoiding the same fate.

In other news, a Hindu group in Toronto has protested the practice of using a middle school cafeteria as a mosque for Muslim students on Fridays after lunch.
