Underage Sex Slaves in Saudi Arabia

This news story mentions only African and Middle Eastern countries as the source for underage sex slaves in Saudi Arabia. However, it’s well-documented that Saudi sheikhs have a taste for young Caucasian girls, particularly blondes, and will pay high prices for them. I would be very surprised if none of these children were Europeans.

Many thanks to our Swedish correspondent Freedom Fighter for the translation:

Little girls sold as sex slaves to Saudi Arabia

Girls between five and twelve years old are sold to rich men in Saudi Arabia and held as sex slaves, according to documents that WikiLeaks published in the Norwegian newspapers Aftenposten and Bergens Tidende had access to.

When girls become sexually mature they are sold into prostitution.

“I’m not surprised,” said Sanna Johnson, the regional manager of Swedish Save the Children in the Middle East, to Aftenposten.

The girls are exported in their thousands from countries such as Mauritania and Yemen.

I am not so naive as to think this doesn't happen in other cultures, but nowhere is it so prevalent, so condoned and accepted, as it is within Islam.

How many of you can conceive of the horror that is everyday life for these children? As well as for the "beardless boys" they are also fond of possessing.

That's the naivete of the West, to believe that just because slavery has been abolished here (in the civilised world) it no longer exists elsewhere. muslims in general and arabs in particular are quite prone to slavery. Once the West acknowledge this fact then perhaps our 'leaders' will start to take steps to eradicate if from the barbarian muslim world.

I though Muslims didn't believe in having slaves? huh...

Oh, that's right, the have some other way of explaining it all away.

"and will pay high prices for them".

hmmm. Could this have something to do with the disappearance of the likes of Madeleine "Maddy" McCann??

"Saudi Arabia has been reported as a “tier three” country—a state not working to put an end to human trafficking by BBC News and the US State Department. Although abolition of slavery was decreed by the royals, the general population is not in agreement, and ignores the decree, thus ‘employing’ and importing workers, abiding by their God-given right to have and own slaves. In an article on slavery from Dhimmi Watch, November 4, 2003: “It's(slavery) taken for granted in the Qur'an (see Suras 2:178, 2:221, 4:92, 5:89, and many more), and that is the foundation of Saudi society.”"

"Brian Evans, a graduate of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin, states, “citizens of Great Britain and the United States are not immune to these kinds of abuses, despite (or perhaps, ironically, because of) their countries close ties to the Saudi government.”"

Sexual Slavery in Saudi Arabia

More info from above article:

"In actuality, Women from Third World countries are purchased to serve in aristocratic households throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They come from the Sudan, Thailand, Ethiopia, India and the Philippines and are frequently bought and sold, their families and extended family are given cash in exchange for one of their children. They are eager to sell a daughter to benefit the family, believing their child will live in luxury with a Saudi prince."

More info from above article:

"For the vulnerable, this is a dream come true, but in reality, is a farce. A Saudi prince who purchases a slave girl believes he committed a charitable act by rescuing a family from abject poverty while delivering his slave into a fate worse that death. He brings young girls into his palace, dumps them in damp basements without so much as a blanket for cover at night. She is lucky to have food, is often raped, tortured and persecuted by her owners and members of the royal household, both male and female."

Some close friends just returned from vacationing in Morocco. They have a beautiful strawberry blond 15 year old daughter, and her blond twin brother. I implored them -- Don't leave them alone!
I too have thought that Maddy McCann suffered this fate -- of sex slavery.
I try to tell my friends what I've read of Saudi slaves, and they are incredulous.

It is such an outrageous concept in this "modern" era that people simply refuse to believe it.
