France is alarmed at the promised EU bailout referendum in Greece, and the French Minister for European Affairs says that the Greek people should instead be asked whether they want to keep the euro. Meanwhile, 15% of the American population is now reported to be on food stamps.
In other news, reports coming out of Israel suggest that the Israelis are preparing for a pre-emptive strike on Iran. Israel has just tested a ballistic missile that can reach Iran, suggesting that it intends to take out Iran’s nuclear program before the mullahs obtain a deliverable warhead.
