In anticipation of a reprise of poppy-burning at tomorrow’s Remembrance Day ceremonies in London, British Home Secretary Theresa May has banned the organization Muslims Against Crusades. There are reports that MAC leader Anjem Choudary’s properties have been raided by police.
In other news, information has emerged showing that labor union pension funds in the USA are massively underfunded. The union plans will either have to raise premiums, reduce benefits, be bailed out by the government, or some combination of all three.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Obama administration says that the USA may be willing to support a Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt, provided that it achieves power via free and fair elections.

Yeah, we don't care if you give up your freedom to live under the thumb of a tyrannical dictator. We just want to be sure that if you do, that do it via some semblance of a free election process.
Egypt had a semblance of a free election process before, which routinely put the last government in power... but we're overlooking that little detail in our efforts to "change" the established balance of power, just because we can. And, just because we think it's a neat idea for which we will then pat ourselves on the back for accomplishing.
