“You Cannot Integrate Into Nothing”

Cultural Enrichment News

Here’s some more Scandinavian enrichment news, this time from Denmark. Because it has so many Muslim charges, a children’s institution in Sealand has decided to cancel a traditional visit to a church at Christmas.

Many thanks to Hans Erling Jensen for translating this article from fpn.dk:

Kindergarten drops church visit out of concern for Muslims

“Why should all the other children lose of a piece of Danish Christmas tradition?” asks the cleric.

There will be no story of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem, the three wise men and the bright star the donkey and so on, for the children in the Danish children’s institution Ørnevang in Lillerød, Sealand.

The staff has decided not to participate in the traditional Christmas service in Lillerød Church because a high proportion of children in the institution are Muslims.

“The reason is that we have several Muslim families who do not want their children to go to church. And so we decided to say ‘no thanks’, because we also have our everyday work,” said Susan Lund Andersen, the headmaster of Ørnevang to Jyllands-Posten.

The decision to drop the Christmas church service has caused great annoyance to the vicar of Lillerød Church, who believes that the Christmas worship service is an important part of the Danish Christmas tradition.

Wanted to amend the program

“I was upset and annoyed that they cancelled. They called and asked if I could amend the program so they could participate. I always end the ceremony with the bright blessing of the children, and they wanted me to refrain from that for the sake of the children’s religion,” says vicar Carsten Mulnæs.

He believes that Ørnevang — the institution — has made a bad decision, because now all the kids are unable to attend the Christmas service.

“I believe that children should have the opportunity, because it is a Danish tradition. I know that the institution has a large proportion of Muslim children, but I know that not all families have a problem with going to church. I think a majority of the kids will be cheated,” says Carsten Mulnæs.

It affects integration

The organization Muslims in Dialogue is sorry that the cancellation impacts the children who would like to go to church.

“I think it’s a shame if it affects the children who actually wanted to go to church. But on the other hand, I do not think anyone should be forced to participate who does not want to, whatever religion they belong to,” says Vice President Nihad Hodzic.

The action made Carsten Mulnæs write a reader’s comment in today’s edition of Frederiksborg County newspaper, where he emphasizes the church’s role in integration.

“You can not integrate into nothing. But that is exactly what we risk at that kindergarten: Nothing. It is not respect for Muslims, but disrespect for our own history.”

The service is not crucial

The argument that the Christmas worship service is important for integration does not have a great impact among Muslims in Dialogue.

“I understand that the priest is upset that the institution refuses to go to his church, but I do not believe that it actually works against integration. Personally, I have never participated in a Christmas service, and I do not think that it is essential for integration,” says Nihad Hodzic.

I think that if the Muslims were seriously interested in integrating, they'd have proposed letting their children attend as observers rather than participants. Forcing the kindergarten to abandon the tradition altogether demonstrates that not only are they not interested in even learning about the Danish culture, but are actively interested in stomping it out.

Usually the answer to that question is, "whomever is numerically superior."

Simply, the way to stop it is for Europeans to breed.

Unfortunately we've very helpfully got environmentalists, feminists and other Marxist telling us not to.

The other option is to wind up the chief driver of the immigrant baby-boom: the welfare state.

But with Europeans unwilling to survive without their nanny, this ain't gonna happen any time soon either.

This is what the threat of "economic collapse", with which the EU is facilitating the replacement of democracy in Italy and Greece, is based on.

The tacit implication is, "hand over your right to govern yourselves or you will have to fend for yourselves." And people willingly do it.

But the truth is, that the welfare state is a giant unsustainable Ponzi scheme ultimately doomed to collapse - and always has been - that's exactly why the immigration has been allowed in, in the first place...

The cataclysmically idiotic belief - nevertheless broadly held in the entirety of the European political establishment - that these people would somehow be magically transformed from Kafir hating illiterate goat herds into high-tax paying particle physicists in a generation or two, so they could keep feeding the statist beast.

And the really great news is, that this is exactly the kind of system that President Obama wants to introduce into the US, and the person who's most likely to be chosen to run against him and may even beat him, Mitt Romney, is actually rather keen on the idea too!

Ain't life grand?

What next?
How about the Muslims, who have been so wronged, inviting the children to come to the mosque and say the Shahada?!?!

It's happening everywhere, every day. All our traditions are being taken away one by one, all so that muslims won't be "offended"...
In my experience there isn't much that does n o t offend them. I wish all the offended ones back to their original Backwardistans and let us live our lives in peace and quiet. Is that too much to ask?

When I hear about this kind of voluntary abandment of culture and tradition in schools it makes me think that edukashun really ought to be reformed, top to bottom.

When I see things like this or this, I want it abolished!

(Hope the links work.)

Already been done, imams even go into European Kindergartens to help young children "appreciate" islam.

WHAT?!!

"He believes that Ørnevang — the institution — has made a bad decision, because now all the kids are unable to attend the Christmas service."

No, they are not.

Two problems here:

(1) The vicar still believes in the integration of Muslims

(2) The vicar didn't call on the parents of those children who'd like to visit the service, to come anyway in defiance of the staff's decision.

Where are the parents? Isn't it high time for some heady dose of civil disobedience here? They should keep their children from school for the duration of the service and just go there.

Why the meekness? Are they waiting for some politician or civil servant to solve this problem? What's wrong with these people?

Oh well, they bring it upon themselves if they remain this inactive and don't defend their keep.

Cheers,
Sag
