The Investigation of Jussi Halla-Aho

I posted last week about the Finnish writer Jussi Halla-aho, who was recently elected to the Helsinki city council. Mr. Halla-aho is a strong opponent of Multiculturalism and mass immigration, which places him outside the bounds of acceptable opinion in Finland — and indeed virtually anywhere in the West.

Anyone who dares to question the current wisdom is smeared, scapegoated, and shunned. By entering the political arena he has put himself at greater risk.

It was widely expected that as soon Jussi Halla-aho put his head over the parapet, the sniper shots would begin. And that’s exactly what seems to be happening: according to Tundra Tabloids, a police investigation into Mr. Halla-aho’s “racist” writings has been launched.

KGS reminds us that the police are required to conduct an investigation whenever charges are made, no matter how bogus they might be. Here’s his translation of the brief bulletin from Ilta-Sanomat:

The police have begun an investigation of the incoming Helsinki councilman, Jussi Halla-aho. The suspected crime is the incitement against a racial group. “It’s the correct terminology right now. We are going through all the texts once again and look to see what texts are serious,” said police lieutenant Vesa Hietala of the Helsinki police department. According to Hietala, there’s reason to believe that Halla-aho has committed something against the law. I can’t say which parts in the texts are of a serious nature.”

He goes on to add this commentary:

Here in Finland, anyone who raises a voice over the state’s suicidal immigration and asylum policies, runs the risk of being labeled with the highly dreaded epithet of racist or Islamophobe, and bludgeoned over the head with the pesky racist speech laws (Finnish= kiihottaminen kansanryhmää vastaan, Swedish= hets mot folkgrupp).

Though the law was made with the best of intentions, it has been used however, to quiet all forms of criticism of state policies that are seen as being detrimental to Finnish society as a whole.

[…]

Islamic preachers of hate can be free to rail against the non-Muslims who comprise the majority in the host society, Abdullah Tammi can be free to call my place of birth (the US) “the Great Satan” and its government “satanic”, and by default all those who support it. But the same freedom doesn’t exist for those people who point out that Islam is a dangerous ideology, and that it’s not wise to import thousands of people into Finland who believe that that ideology is sanctioned by the divine.

So what’s next for Jussi Halla-aho? Will he be silenced, just as Mikko Ellilä, Tomashot, and Jiri Keronen were?

We’ll keep you posted.

Of course the "multiculturalist" dhimmis who would rather wet themselves and dress their women in burkas rather than risk offending their mohammedist masters will be the FIRST whom they kill.

"Brave brave" muslim warriors always attack those who are weak.

Jussi ,
Finnish people have long lived on words with "z" involved !
Sadly to say ,after the Iron Wall Curtain 1969 was turned down . We seem not to have taken any measures to prevent finnish ordinary normal citizens from the new paradigm and prosecutor favorite PC agendas such as mentioned in Your case.
