Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/22/2012In an elementary school in the town of Bremerton, a suburb of Seattle, a third-grade girl was shot and critically wounded. It is thought that the shooter was one of her classmates in third grade.

In other news, a reporter for The Sunday Times named Marie Colvin was killed in a firefight in Syria, along with a French photographer. Radio communications intercepted by Lebanese intelligence indicate that the killing was deliberately orchestrated by the Syrian regime, who wanted it to look like an accident of war.
