Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/4/2012

Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/4/2012Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney won handily in today’s Nevada caucuses, further strengthening his status as the party’s frontrunner.

In other news, the cold wave in Europe continued and intensified. A significant snowfall caused chaos in Rome, and the lower Danube froze over in Bulgaria. Further compounding the woes of Central Europe, Russia’s Gazprom cut back its supplies of natural gas to the EU, by as much as 30% in some countries.

I wonder if anyone in the MSM will have the stones to stand up and ask Mr. Romney if he's wearing his special underpants?

Europe is facing return of ‘little ice age’. It's a pity we don't have snow here in Philly!

Mitt Romney does indeed practice the main tenets of his religion, including the wearing of clothes symbolizing his faith.

It might be more meaningful to ask whether he's circumcised as well, even though this is not considered religiously significant according to the officially promulgated doctrine of the Mormon Church. A number of Mormons (the exact number is hard to say) 'supplement' their ritual observances with various Jewish customs.

Egypt accuses Norwegian of financing riots

Egyptians and foreigners, 44 in total, are being prosecuted.

Why would any Norwegian finance riots in Egypt? Because he is a muslim from one of the neighboring muslim countries?
