There was a Hizb ut-Tahrir demonstration in Copenhagen today, and Steen was there taking photos for Snaphanen.
The huge red and black banner shown in the photo at right is not entirely visible within the image, and the lettering is on the opposite side and is thus reversed. However, as near as I can tell it says (in English in the original):
“KHILAFAH” is, of course, the Caliphate.
Steen says the balding and bearded man in the photo below is the successor to Abu Laban, the obnoxious Danish Islamist who died last year. For some mysterious reason all three men appear to be worshipping a Honda generator:

I don’t have any English-language news sources yet on this HuT rally. Anyone who finds one is welcome to leave a link in the comments.

Honda akbar!!!
The BBC has an article on the demonstration in English.
When I worked out in the middle east 30 years ago, we had trouble getting the people to work during Ramadan, you gave them a job and they always gave the excuse that they had to go and pray. We solved the problem by getting them all to pray at the same time. In fact I did most of the work. I chose the praying area cleaned the place off with water sprays and even had the area painted. I even with the help of a compass worked out in which direction they should pray. What I didn't tell them was that we had been having a hell of a lot of problems with the concrete mixer that was in direct line of sight with Mecca and the praying area. I thought that perhaps divine intervention might help, it didn't, but I did get some great pictures of about 50 people praying to a concrete mixer. Unfortunately they have been lost over the years. Praying to a Honda generator is nothing, the question is would they know what to do if it ran out of petrol, or would they know how to fix a concrete mixer.

Reminds me of the revered muslims scholars suffering from three agonizing questions when that Malaysian was in space a couple of months back, namely:
a.) How to pray in the direction of Mecca in a rotating spacecraft
b.) How to determine night- and daytime during Ramadan when the spacecraft is revolving round the Earth
c.) I don't remember the third question, by that time I was pissing my pants and rolling over the carpet.
