Broken Promises

UPDATE: No, we don’t the origin of this. If you do, let us know…it came wrapped in anonymity, landing in our email. Who could resist?

Teddy and Hillary
Yes, I did promise not to do any political coverage until we were nearer to voting time. However, this cartoon has a historical resonance that the children need to know about.

Just like Paul Revere's ride, Teddy's infamous midnight swim will live on in American history.

As it should.

You really need to see today's Day by Day 'toon. One place to find it is at Captain's Quarters.

I'm reminded of the classic National Lampoon Volkswagen ad spoof from the '70's: "If Ted Kennedy drove a Volkswagen he'd be president today. It floats."

I got it from Surber, who got it from the NY Post. No, it's not contagious, but it is deliciously wicked.
