The “British” terror suspect Abu Hamza al-Masri, after losing long years of legal appeals, has finally been extradited to the United States to stand trial, along with four of his fellow culture-enrichers. Mr. al-Masri is more popularly known as “Hooky” due to the loss of both hands in an… ahem… workplace accident during a visit to Afghanistan some years ago.
In other news, a property developer in Dublin, Ireland has applied for planning permission to build an $84 million mosque to serve the city’s 40,000 Muslims. That comes out to $2,100 per culture-enricher.
Meanwhile, the largest mosque in the Southern Hemisphere has been built north of Johannesburg, South Africa, at an estimated cost of R1.3 billion (about $150 million).
