Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/26/2012

Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/26/2012Muslims in India will be celebrating Eid al-Bakra (The Feast of Sacrifice) a week from Monday. Their holiday enjoyment is being dampened by the cost of goats, which are the designated sacrificial animal for the feast. The price of goats has risen so dramatically that poor people are finding it hard to afford them, and the supply is inadequate.

In other news, Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri has called on Egyptian Muslims to demand the implementation of sharia law in their nation, and to take hostages from among the citizens of Western countries that make war on Islam.
