Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/10/2012Germany has abandoned a long-held fiscal position and now says it is willing to accept some inflation of the euro if that would help solve the current financial crisis in the Eurozone. Chancellor Merkel, however, rejects the idea of any additional “stimulus” measures to prop up the economies of EU member states.

In other news, a group of Kuwaiti lawmakers has proposed a new bill that would ensure that no women can become judges in Kuwait.
