The Three Cs

Update: This post was originally published on Saturday May 12, and then later boosted. Scroll down for more recently published posts, including Fjordman’s latest essay.

Echoing the theme of Paul Weston’s talk earlier today, Takuan Seiyo offers a somewhat different take on the same recent events in Rochdale.

The current state of Britain (and all of Western Civilization) is reminiscent of an observation by Riddley Walker in the eponymous novel by Russell Hoban. Upon seeing the “shyning of them broakin machines” at Fork Stoan, Riddley grieves: “O, what we ben! And what we come to!”

The Three Cs
by Takuan Seiyo

Consider the case of the nine “Asian” men recently convicted for snaring, drugging, kidnapping, pimping and gang-raping 50 young British girls, over ten years. These Asian men, all of them Japanese Buddhists from Kyoto:

The Rochdale Eight
Handout composite image issued on May 8, 2012 by Manchester Police showing eight of the nine men in the “Rochdale gang”: Adil Khan, Mohammed Amin, Abdul Rauf, Mohammed Sajid; bottom, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Qayyum, Hamid Safi and Kabeer Hassan

As has now transpired, police, public prosecutors and social workers knew about these blood-curdling abuses since 2002, and ignored them because they feared being called racist. They ignored the complaints of a 15 year-old who told them she was being driven all over town to be raped by up to five men every day. Singled out, as she relayed, because she was white, vulnerable and under-age.

And the pleas of another one who described in a six-hour interview with the police her multiple rapes, by up to five men a day, and provided DNA evidence too. And a mother whose three daughters were being raped regularly by the Japanese Buddhist Asians, and who complained about it multiple times to the authorities, to no avail.

Racist police action averted, thankfully, for ten long years, I am particularly fond of Assistant Chief Constable Steve Heywood acknowledgment that officers could have dealt with the case “better than we did,” and that “The issue here is genuinely about vulnerability. It just happens that they are Asian men. In no way did we sweep it under the carpet.”

Let’s move on from the hopeless zombie cops to a British historian who is full of hope. “If we are to make this highly diverse society work, and I desperately hope that we do,” said David Starkey, PhD, CBE, FSA and a richly remunerated darling of Britain’s broadcast MSM, “what we should be focusing on is the astonishing record of change.”

The esteemed Dr. Starkey avers that these “Asian” kuffar-pedophilia specialists have been acting “within their cultural norms.” Converting them to the British norms is a matter of explaining that the history of women in Britain was once “rather similar” to that in Pakistan, but now it has changed.

Like the amazing change from Elizabethan England’s honor killings of women, clitoridectomy, acid disfiguration, rape followed by lapidation of the victim, forced servitude, forced confinement in dress and abode, to the ’astonishing modern-day phenomenon of the Right Honourable Jacqui Smith, Zombie Island’s erstwhile Home Secretary, renaming Muslim terrorism “anti-Islamic terrorism” and stating that “Terrorists are criminals whose victims come from all walks of life, communities and religious backgrounds” after Bilal Abdulla, Mohammed Asha, Kafeel Ahmed, Sabeel Ahmed and four other Saxons were arrested in connection with the Glasgow International Airport and London West bombings, in 2007. But that was before it transpired that the Rt. Honourable Jacqui charged her husband’s hotel porno films and her family’s Redditch home to the British taxpayer.

Desperate hope and astonishing change, as Dr. Starkey would say. And he passes for a bold conservative in Zombieland — but what do I know? David Cameron does, too.

For a thinker, discussing or criticizing individuals is trivial. I have no ill will toward Dr. Starkey, nor much interest. What fascinates me is how and where he, or any other member of the British intellectual elite, has come by his opinions. Why have the Anglo-Saxons and other ethnies of Great Zombieland turned into contemptible wusses shuffling in Eloi slippers toward their own extinction?

Remember that this is the people that only 60 years ago produced men in relative profusion who led commando operations in the guise of Greek shepherds, switching when needed to German uniforms in order to kidnap German generals.

Is there a clue to this metamorphosis of Britain in Dr. Starkey’s having been born to strict Quaker parents? His, as per Wikipedia, “excessively enthusiastic advocacy of [sodomite] promiscuity”? For lack of deeper familiarity with the hoping historian, I prefer to comment on the lauded school he attended as a youngster, Kirkbie Kendal, founded 1525.

Now the motto of Kirkbie Kendal is “Care, Courtesy and Consideration.” It strikes me as a little on the nebbish Little Lamb side — and that’s in a country where Christianity is practically gone, but the meekness remains.

Why not “Class, Chivalry, Confidence”? But even that is passé. Great Britain has been importing brutal, hateful barbarians by the tens of thousands per year for decades. The barbarians now openly prey on the young daughters of the rightful owners of Great Britain, and the authorities avert their gaze.

Racism (to clarify, white “racism”) is a punishable offense even for grade school children, but systemic mayhem and malfeasance by the alleged victims of racism — and that comprises personages as high as Scotland Yard’s “Teflon Commander” Ali Dizaei — have become untouchable. Not to speak of the legal purse seine that punishes resisters to violent crimes on a par with the criminals who commit them.

If there were sentient humans with normal psyches at the head of Kirkbie Kendal School, should they not have changed their once-appropriate three-Cs motto to Courage, Confrontation, Commitment? For care, courtesy and consideration are a hopeless anachronism in the multiculti hellhole that Great Britain and much of Western Europe is becoming.

From the Harrow School where Winston Churchill said in October 1941, “Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never — in nothing, great or small, large or petty — never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.” To all of Harrow’s schools where in Anno Domini 2010 Halal was the only available meat option (and perhaps still is). And to Harrow’s St Gregory’s Catholic Science College that in 2011 reversed its ban on cornrow hairstyles. It did so after a Bodysnatcher High Court judge opined that its refusal to admit a cornrow-coiffed student of Afro-Caribbean ancestry constituted “unlawful, indirect racial discrimination which is not justified.”[1]

The school yielded, though protesting that cornrows are a badge of gang related gun and knife crimes in its area (undoubtedly by racist, cornrow-sportin’ Harrovians). And in doing so it gave in and shed its convictions of honor and good sense, and insulted the memory of Winston Churchill. One wonders, had he known, would he have bothered?

All of this could never have happened without the snaring, drugging, kidnapping, pimping and gang-raping of the British people by its ruling Socialist elites and their weak-in-the-knees Conservative make-believe opponents. When will the history of this crime be written? When is the trial?

Note:

1. By the way, it’s “that is not justified.” It’s symptomatic that judges who progressed so much on Progress have regressed in their knowledge of basic English.

Just a small point of clarification. British Asian is different to American Asian, as in definition.

In English-GB, Asian means someone from the Indian sub-continent, i.e., Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Sri_Lankan. Anyone further east, is known as Oriental, not Asian.

I know there's plenty of uneducated British that use the American version, but that is not what the British news reports are referring to.

Back to the subject.

This lot, are just one small part of it. There's another 6 arrested in Rochdale this week. The care home scandal were Pakistanis were grooming/raping girls has just broke, two died and one girl was abused by 25 Pakistanis in one night. There was two Pakistani Muslims jailed about 10 days ago in Bradford for the usual

6 Muslims are due in court next month for the usual and there's 15 Muslims awaiting trial later this year in Oxford.

We're having a busy old time at the moment. Here's the link to the care home story.

"These Asian men, all of them Japanese Buddhists from Kyoto...."

"...raped regularly by the Japanese Buddhist Asians...."

I am totally confused by the statement that the Rochdale Gang criminals were Japanese Buddhists?! If this is meant to be satire, the idea falls flat in this case and REQUIRES further elaboration and/or correction.

First time GoV readers and future GoV readers might be confused by this erroneous statement.

The top internet article on this issue claims that "All the men are from Pakistan, with one from Afghanistan and two will now be deported."

Pakistan and Afghanistan are both entirely Muslim countries, and the perpetrator names are all Muslim names.

Police fears of being branded racist 'left grooming gang free to abuse teenage girls for two years,' says former Labour MP

He was extracting the urine, Egghead. All this nonsense about "Asian" men - it's about time the press started telling the truth, instead of using code words.

Mind you I have heard a rumour about hordes of Mongolian youths roaming around the hills of Yorkshire living in yurts and eating goat's testicles ...

@Road_Hog
Thanks for the added info. The old term "Asian" is totally inadequate in the new geopolitical reality, even if it refers only to the Indian subcontinent. Were those rapists Indian Jains? Without knowing the answer you could bet your net worth that they were not. So the term you use, Muslims, is more indicative. But even that is inaccurate.
Kazakh and Kyrgyz Muslims are considerably less hateful to us than their co-religionists to the south are. And BTW, where are those countries, if not in Asia? They are certainly not in the Orient. On the other hand classifying Chinese Muslims like the Uighur as "Oriental" also gives a misleading picture.
To me, using the code "Asian" for Pakistani or Indian Muslim indicates cowardice.

It does appear to be satire, Egghead, as it is obvious to any sane person that despite being described as Asian, the perps pictured are all of South Asian descent. At least, that's what I gathered.

This so nails it and with a few changes could easily apply to the U.S. political/media establishment at the national and state levels.

IMO the elites have declared war on their own people and we are seeing the fruits of it now.\\

Is it know what precipitated this group of prosecutions when the problem had been ignored for so long? And it appears that, fairly suddenly, the information dam burst and now people in the UK know about it. Perhaps knowing how this happened could give us information about how to disseminate information that the political classes and the MSM don't want to reveal.

Patrick Leigh Fermor, in the first picture, is a new-found hero for me. I've read both his books about his travels to the Danube and onward -by foot - between the wars. He began at the Hook in Holland and walked widely thru Transdubian lands - now long gone to other names than the ones he used back then. He finished in Constantinople but we don't get to read that part until it's published sometime next year.

He was only 19 when he started; his death in 2011 was the ending of a full and quietly heroic life.

Paddy Fermor

His writing style is ineffably grand. Only someone as well-educated as he had been (a normal education for one of his class back then) and as robustly healthy and handsome could've survived what he attempted, though he didn't write about it until old age.

That wiki, above, tells the tale of his kidnapping of German General Kreipe and the time he spent in Crete. His second book gives even more personal details of his memories about the general & the bond they shared in classical literature...he moves back and forth in time from his adult self to the young man on that incredible journey.

Between the Woods and the Water: On Foot to Constantinople: From The Middle Danube to the Iron Gates (New York Review Books Classics)

The book was recommended by a Canadian reader and in turn I passed it on to some Brits. The finest, most detailed and yet private 'coming-of-age' writing that I've ever read. The old, the disappeared British character.

I read the first leg, starting at the Hook, but this second piece is far better.

The final book, where he reaches Constantinople, will have to wait until next year since it's supposed to be published then.

I'm so glad he survived that slaughter in the 30s and 40s. So many fine European men were lost in two wars it's no wonder that what passes for leadership are but shriveled shadows of their forebears.

Re: Fermor
I consider him the finest travel writer of all time, and that's besides his wartime exploits. The sequel to "Between the Woods and the Water" is called "A Time of Gifts." As grand a read as the 1st part.
What I find most noteworthy about Fermor's education is that there was so little of it, in the formal, overinflated, fraudulent sense we attribute to "education" now. His was, basically, high school. That's it. Yet he is one of the most erudite writers I have ever read, if not the most erudite. Reading any of his books is an experience one savors, like some exquisite eight-course dinner.

@ TS -

In those two books, he demonstrates how he learned as he went along, using the private libraries of the estates where he sometimes stayed, and being willing to risk it all to stay with gypsy bands to learn a bit of their language and culture. He looked down on nothing and his traveling life is one long, serene quest after another.

They'll be reading him in 500 years. If anyone can read.

Suddenly, the information/prosecution dam burst. Was it just inevitable after the passage of time or were there specific, precipitating factors or individuals responsible? Does anyone know? We need to know more about how to publicize the horrors of mass Muslim immigration and multiculturalism.

Sexual Jihad - Demoralising and Humiliating the Infidels by Sexual Degradation

Sexual Jihad - the need to degrade and humiliate the Infidels - provides the religious motivation for Islamic gang rapes and pedophile abductions.

Sexual jihad, using rape and other forms of sexual humiliation and sadism, has been employed as a weapon of war against infidels since the time of Mohammed.

Sexual jihad, including gang rapes and pedophilic abductions of Christian children, continues unabated wherever Muslims come into contact with infidels.
Demoralising and humiliating the infidels by sexual degradation of both adults and children is one of the most repulsive tactics of Islamic supremacism.

In Britain, Jack Straw and the rest of the political class have finally been forced to acknowledge that there is a nationwide problem, ultimately of their own making, of organised Islamic pedophile rings abducting and gang-raping non-Muslim children. However, beyond wondering why it's so difficult to get the Muslim community leaders to do anything, they won't even consider that there may be an Islamic theological 'justification' for these activities.

'Ann Cryer, a former Labour MP for Keighley, she had been made aware of a problem in her constituency in 2003 after she was approached by about six mothers who said their daughters were being groomed for sex by Pakistani men. She said she tried to intercede with the community by asking a councillor to speak to Muslim elders, but they said it was not their affair.'

The BBC dhimmis have also tried to 'racialize' the problem by suggesting that the abductions are by 'Asians' on white children. This is a defamatory slur on all decent law-abiding Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Taoists, Confucians etc to be categorised with these jihadists. The exploitation is not based on race, but on the predatory ideology of Islam. Afro-Caribean, Hindu and Sikh girls have also been targeted.

But Melanie Phillips has been brave enough to say what most of us have been thinking... Full article

It seems that in Britain, as well as in other western countries, the whole corroded and rotten social structure is painstakingly maintained b y those few people who are still sane in spite of all the deadly brainwash regarding multiculturalism, racism and all this madness. Normal people should perhaps separate themselves from those who are so mentaly damaged that simply cannot be saved. Normal people with ideals close to those of the EDL, the FN or the NDL should gather in groups and separate themselves from the rest of people who is anyway doomed to succumb to their own stupidity and cowardice. In this way perhaps things would develop faster, and by this I mean that the whole corroded structure would fall apart more quickly, and the rebuilding of the society could take place sooner instead of waiting passively for the final crunch. There's no point for those still mentally sane westerners to remain in a society which despises and attacks them just because they, the mentally ill ones, have decided to commit cultural ans ethnical suicide, and the grip of P.C. is so tight in their minds that it supresses any attempt of survival even at the very unconscious level of the mind, even at the genetical level where the million years old instinct for survival is (or should be) encoded. Those still sane should stop trying to keep this western titanic afloat and think of a brand new strategy to ensure the survival of the few ones who are still sane in order to have a human stock to build new societies in the future, monocultural and strong societies free from the madness and paranoia which pervades the west right now.

People such as those policemen fearful of being called racists, and thus allowing massive waves of rapes and crimes to happen, those people simply cannot be saved from their mental illness. There's no point is wasting energy on them. They must spend the rest of their life living among "japanes buddhist monks" and suffering in silence, because this is the way they have chosen. But this does not mean that everybody must follow their ill example. That's why one is tempted to say that, in fact, people who are still sane should gather, and not only through internet forums, but also physically, in order to gain strenght and let the others who are ill to sink in their own fatal political correctness. There will be no chance of survival for the remainings of the western civilization if the sane ones still act as pillars of a rotten and corroded structure and end up succumbing when the whole structure is so weak that the debries fall down burying them alive.

This may sound rather utopian, but in the end there will be no other chance. When cities become hellholes of rape and crime, those still sane will have to retreat to safe places in order to reorganize their lines and begin to build up again a civilized society. So it would be wise to start working out plans for this scenario right now.

And of course, marxism, communism, and the two deadly variants of socialism (national and international) will have to be banned for ever, for this may be the most important factor in the rebuilding of the western societies. Otherwise there's no point in making any effort to rebuild them, because the end will eventually be the same.

@ Road Hog Are you British? I am, and was once responsible for policy and action on "race relations" in a very large UK public authority. I do not at all recognise your description that, in the UK, " Asian means someone from the Indian sub-continent, i.e., Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Sri_Lankan. Anyone further east, is known as Oriental, not Asian”.
I can say with total honesty that I have NEVER heard a Brit refer to “oriental”. Chinese, Paki, Indian et al – but NEVER “oriental”.
You are sadly talking bovine manure and clearly have no idea so maybe it would be best if you buttoned your mouth, or disabled your keyboard, until you can actually offer genuine first hand knowledge!

To the point. The quoted article is rather unfair to Dr David Starkey, a highly respected historian.
Unlike me he is gay (I’m straight) and makes no secret of that but that is by the by. I’m just attempting to stem stupid criticism.
He is, apart from being famous for history, famous for publicly offering controversial views on a number of issues. Funnily enough he manages to encapsulate the views of the majority during his outbursts. Fine and sensible man.

The halal-serving schools in Harrow and St Gregory's Catholic Science College (despite its grand name) are all local authority schools - what I believe are called public schools in the US.

Churchill's 'Harrow School' is a private fee-paying school. I have no idea, of course, whether Harrow School ever serves halal. Possibly, to any gulf state princelings who are educated there.

'Harrovians' is the term used to describe pupils of the private school.

So St Gregory's actions no more insult the memory of Sir Winston Churchill than would those of any other local authority school in the country.

The problem with local authority schools is that they and the authority itself are obliged to follow regulations about diversity/equality; at present they are as much bound by EU/ECHR diktat as is the government itself. Hence the halal and the cornrows.

Finally... my country is in trouble. So is Europe. So is the US. The same trouble at root. There's very little I can do about it, given my personal circumstances, except keep being proud of the best of my country and perhaps more importantly, stick with my land and my people. All of my people, the deceived and the deluded, as well as those of us who know what is going on.

I want to believe that all of us are working for the same end. When I see my country being called, for example, "Great Zombieland" I wonder. Mind you, I have seen worse descriptions on other sites...

It seems that in almost every UK town now, there is a similar gang of Muslim paedophiles targetting white under-age girls... Meanwhile - a Muslim woman having anything to do (even eye-contact) with a non-Muslim man can count her days numbered.

Anyone notice a pattern here? One could say that it's about the desire to control women, like Pamela Geller last June, about this very case (yes, it's been going on since last June!).

Undoubtedly, controlling women is part of the issue - but is it the main one? There have been many men- of all races and religions - wanting to do this. But how many have done it in such large numbers - or in such organised fashion? Instead, could this be a modern method of Jihad for the Muslims? In each case the girl either becomes a prostitute (and may have no kids), miraculously frees herself (in which case she'll find it very difficult to find a partner - again meaning likely no kids), or she will have kids with a Muslim - who will then, in all likelihood, be raised as Muslims.

Either way, she will have no children with infidels - and therefore no infidel children. And how many of those (now non-existent) infidel children could have been soldiers, aware of the threat of Islam, bloggers, or even readers of counter-jihadi blogs? For 200 years, the forces of Islam have been weak compared to the Infidels - in conventional military terms... could this be the Muslims' way of carrying on the fight in other "softer" (but perhaps even more effective) ways??

Meanwhile, in England (where the motto for many years was "no sex please, we're British!), the prudish Brits turn their heads the other way, shout "Asians!" and pretend that nothing's happening. If only they could have reacted with such pure rage like the Brazilians when faced with their own case of Muslim paedophilia, one could have had at least some respect for them, for at least trying to stem the flow, and showing that such behaviour is completely unacceptable...

Alas, most Brits prefer to tune in to X-factor, or Manchester City's premiership victory, and think that life continues on as usual - and that, miraculously, 50 years down the line their country will still be "great". In spite of so many such Brits being without children, even when they're 50. How many would have had wives and families, if not for such phenomena as the grooming gangs? We'll probably never know, but perhaps the grooming perpetrators will suspect what the reason is, and will be rubbing their hands with satisfaction at a few more British women taken "off the market", leaving their dream of Britain being taken over by their Pakistani "brothers" that bit closer to coming to fruition.

I am glad you support my view of "Asian." As to Starkey, I am aware he once said that white is the new black and other such after the big riots, but his views on Olde England and on the need and method for assimilating feral Pakis speak for themselves, in the linked article. The problem with what you call "controversial views" is that they are, by a long shot, not controversial enough. When held and publicized by persons of authority, they diffuse and divert what should and could otherwise go much farther and much stronger. Ditto British "Conservatives." As to Starkey being a highly respected historian, I'll give you the name of a highly respected American historian: Howard Zinn. We misplace our respect too.

@Anonymous clarifier of "Harrovian"

Seriously, do you think this article could have been written by someone who is unaware of what Harrow School is and how it differs from the gov-schools in Harrow? Or that many read this blog who are so unaware? And why would you think that what Churchill said in a public school in Harrow does not apply to gov. schools in Harrow? It's the British government that runs those schools, is it not?
As to your second point, NO ONE is obliged to follow regulations about diversity/equality. They are being followed, in the U.S. too, because the many millions of those who know such regulations to be evil are cowards.
Your third point: Yes, the entire West is in trouble. But hardly any country has gone as far in its hara-kiri as the UK has. The voluntary dhimmitude is far greater than even in France. The servility to the malignant octopus state (MOS)is enormously greater than in the U.S. -- where many millions still know that firearms are the first condition of freedom, fly "Don't tread on Me" flags, and individuals still exist who refuse to pay the confiscatory taxes of MOS, knowing that they will go to prison for that.
Calling your country "names" is a way for outsiders who love your country to wake up the population of your country. We are all elated about the British Freedom Party, though you might say, not without some justification, what's this to us.

I remember reading only one blog comment or post (don't remember which) that addressed one important point about the "grooming and pimping" investigations and trials (if there has been more coverage I've missed it).

The point is that obviously many, many Muslim men were involved in this horrible abuse of children--noty just those on trial. It is probable that hundreds, if not thousands of Muslim men were involved and many more had to have known about it.

Does anyone know if this point has been made in the press or if anything is being done about it in the investigations?

On my own-

Good to hear from you and good question. In fact, it brings up a parallel in 'regular' pedophile arrests and the break-up of such 'rings' of men. For every child reported victimized, there are many who aren't identified. These fellows damage unknown hundreds...

...so while I have nothing but anecdotal evidence I'd say that you're onto something. Many men get away with it not being singled out as "johns" because they pay high prices for the human products provided by the groomers&pimpers. It's a very lucrative field.

The trials in England aren't even the tip of the iceberg. They're merely a small chip off a HUGE block of a big business enterprise. It's international too, involving Ukranians, Albanians, etc. In the US they have 'runs' up and down the east and west coasts, serving the long-haul truckers...among other clientele.

The numbers of lost and abandoned children make this business possible.

There have been several comments, here and in the press, about how the people supposed to be "caring" for the victims weren't doing so. Some journalists have dared to say that those people were afraid of being labelled as racists.

But nowhere in the British press is the question asked: Why would anyone be afraid to be labelled a racist?

Where has the notion come from that allowing scores of vulnerable young girls to be repeatedly raped and sold for the sexual pleasure of gangs of middle aged deviants is considered morally better than being labelled a racist?

The police, carers etc who knew about this for years asked themselves that question - what is the best outcome here? They all considered multiple rape of young girls to be a morally desirable outcome - better than being labelled a racist.

Who would be doing the labelling? What would happen if they did? Why would it happen?

The silence in the press is deafening.

To be fair, it's worse in the United States. "Racist"is a career killer for an individual; actually a terminator of livelihood. So far, no difference from the UK. But on a government policy level, the damage is far worse than it is in the UK. Certain very large minority groups have six to eight times the criminality rate of whites, but any preventive police action that, naturally, must have a larger impact on said minorities, is deemed racist and must be stopped. If competence examinations for skilled jobs result in a lesser percentage of minority hires than the government and its minority big-mouth "stimulators" deem proper, that's racist. Ditto university admission standards. So the examinations or standards are suspended, incompetent minority dunces are sucked in to societal niches they are ill-equipped to fill, and the country is slowly degrading all its institutions and turning into a Third World cesspool. All to avoid "racism." I could go on for another 10,000 words.

Bewick - I don't know why you were being so rude to Road Hog, but I concur with his assessment. I lived in the UK for 5 years, but only AFTER having learned to speak English in the US. I was corrected on many occasions by English when referring to Chinese, Vietnamese etc as "Asian"; they told me "They're Orientals. Asians are Pakis and the lot." I did notice as I was leaving the UK, the trend was to not say "Oriental" but instead "East Asian". But to reiterate, as Road Hog says, "Asian" clearly still means Indian/Paki/Bengladeshi etc. Rather than argue with you on this any further, I'll kindly refer you to Wikipedia which supports our assessment.

"Policy maker" or not, one would think you'd have heard this. Either way, there was no call for your rudeness there.

1. I was attempting to clarify the public/private school situation here for those readers who may not have been aware of the difference.

2. I agree that noone is obliged to follow regulations... if they are willing to risk unemployment/fines/imprisonment. See the Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006, the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008, the Equality Act 2010 etc.

3. In my opinion, calling my country 'names' serves only to insult those of us who are already aware and alienate those who come seeking information.

Also from that 1941 speech by Churchill:-

"It is generally said that the British are often better at the last. They do not expect to move from crisis to crisis; they do not always expect that each day will bring up some noble chance of war; but when they very slowly make up their minds that the thing has to be done and the job put through and finished, then, even if it takes months - if it takes years - they do it."

Racism (to clarify, white “racism”) is a punishable offense even for grade school children, but systemic mayhem and malfeasance by the alleged victims of racism — and that comprises personages as high as Scotland Yard’s “Teflon Commander” Ali Dizaei — have become untouchable.

It's more than a mere double standard. It's inversionism.

When a justice system turns things upside down, society first becomes apathetic, then deteriorates, and finally collapses. At that point, only the strongest force wins.

on-my-own-in-Berkeley asked:

Does anyone know if this point has been made in the press or if anything is being done about it in the investigations?

Well actually onmoib a couple of papers have made the point but only mildly. The Rochdale trial was totally suppressed in the media until the last couple of weeks. There were some blogged whispers very early on that 47 defendants were involved.
As we saw, only 11 defendants appeared. The Police finally say they are looking for at least 40 more men associated with this particular ring and 4 more I think have been arrested so far.
Nine more people have been arrested in the Rochdale area but the Police say that this is totally different ring and the newly detained appear to not even know the people in the trial. Or so they say. Further trial due/ongoing in Oxford, and arrests apparently in Cheltenham – again different rings. Channel 4 made a programme about grooming and the Greater Manchester Police tried to stop it being shown – and succeeded until late last year. This is only the tip of a very large iceberg and the only people being prosecuted are those whom the police have actually bothered to seek.
There seems little question that this is a very widespread problem and it is unthinkable that the Muslim community were really unaware. They MUST have known. The worms though are crawling out of the woodwork and claiming that the convicted perpetrators were “not devout Muslims and didn’t attend mosque”. Eh? One at least was a teacher at a mosque.
Whatever, the case has caused consternation, finally, in the MSM and there is much discussion, and many views on all sides being aired in the broadcast media and the paper media. Most though still “dare not speak its name” although many commentators are now daring to suggest that this is only the tip of a very big problem. Trevor Philips, the black head of the Equal Opps Commission, has stated clearly today that it IS a race issue. Hope that helps. I also hope that the interest allows the authorities to finally “grow a pair”.
@Qualis Rexis. Well you are entitled to your views, pitting your 5 years in the UK against my 68, and I don’t wish to argue.
I think we must have moved in different circles and perhaps you were more exposed to PC people. For my part I live in the North but have worked in all areas of the UK and at high levels. For 10 years I was responsible for “equal opportunity” policies in a very large public authority. Not ONCE did I ever hear people from the Indian sub-continent referred to as “oriental”. Even people from the Orient – Chinese and Japanese for example - were not described as “oriental” even though they were so. Wikipedia must know better I suppose. I am though surprised that someone of your undoubted intellect relies on Wikipedai.

@ qualis rex. Yes I was unnecessarly rude to road hog and I apologise. I could have expressed my view rather better.

@Road_Hog. Sorry
