The Socialist People’s Party Speaks Out Against Islam

In Denmark, even the Socialists are vigorously opposed to Islamization. Our Danish correspondent TB has this to say about a video that was made recently by the Socialist People’s Party:

The radical Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) held a conference in Denmark on October 3. As a result, the Socialist People’s Party (SF) decided to produce a video statement against HuT. Even Villy Søvndal, the leader of SF, participated in the production.

The video serves to illustrate how thoroughly the debate has changed recently. Opinions which were totally forbidden a few short months ago are now being spoken aloud by respected public figures.

We are moving forward.

Many thanks to TB for transcribing the video, to Anne-Kit of Perth, Australia for translating the transcript, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling. Warning: the “Blogger bug” may make it necessary for the reader to click “read more” before the embedded video works:

A complete transcript is below the jump.

00:01 “Kill them wherever you find them” (Hizb ut-Tahrir on Jews)
00:03 Hizb ut-Tahrir’s spokesman convicted for racism.
00:07 Now they are active again.
00:10 On 3 October Hizb ut-Tahrir held a conference at the Bella Center.
00:13 This is what the Socialist People’s Party (SF) thinks.
00:16 SF has fought for freedom for 50 years, and I am so fed up with listening to extremist
00:21 religious groups like Hizb-ut-Tahrir and their rubbish about no freedom.
00:25 They are a bunch of benighted, reactionary, religious relics of the past.
00:30 They want to subvert democracy and abolish our liberties. We will not stand for that.
00:35 We must clearly denounce an inhuman view of women
00:39 and a legal system based on centuries-old scriptures.
00:42 This has no place in Denmark. Neither today nor in the future.
00:46 We in SF believe in making room for all who want to play on the field of democracy
00:52 in Danish society. But at the same time: We clearly denounce extremists
00:58 and fanatics. There is no place for them in Danish society.
01:04 A place for all who are willing,
01:07 but we have no time for racists and religious obscurantists.

I have a yes, but reaction. Of course it's wonderful that even the socialists are standing up to Islamists, but...look at how they have to qualify it with the message that there is a place for all who are willing, i.e., everyone is welcome if they assimilate. All the supposedly right wing parties say that stuff, too. Political types still have to make these anti-racist protestations, but I hope the ordinary Danish people understand that the "willing" will eventually swamp the natives, no matter how assimilated they are. At some point, Danes and other native Euros will have to stop lying in public. I know the speech codes prevent them from saying Denmark is for Danes, but the next step, then, and perfectly safe, is to stand up to Islamists but say nothing about assimilation and willingness. Everyone will understand that omission as a deliberate nativist message.

That video has spread like wildfire over the Danish blogosphere as an example of political double-speak. At least two of those politicians are notorious liars. Kamal Qureshi tries to evade the tax system by renting apartments to students under his alias "Oliver" and Villy Soevndal's nickname "Turncoat" isn't for nothing. They do not mean one word of what they are saying and everybody knows that. The bright side is that they feel the heat and try to attract a few votes from the overwhelming majority of Danes - who are sick and tired of Muslims. In short: they are desperate.

Now, my impression of talking with people behind the scenes is that the change is genuine, which is interesting. And useful:

This is a window of opportunity for the Conservatives to implement effective legislative changes.

Whether this is legit or not, can't say, but the offer of inclusion is necessary, in my opinion. When one makes this offer, if rejected, it shows the true nature of the beast, so to speak, and removes yet another claim of defense for inappropriate conduct. It also serves to educate the public about who deserves responsibility, so that collective action may be legitimately exercised.

In hoc signo vinces

Looks like the multikulti attempting to seize the counter-jihads political territory.

Hope this is the start of stopping the appeasement of muslims in society, and expecting them to abide by our democratic laws of freedom. If they don`t agree they should be deported!
A clampdown on muslim immigration should also happen and now more mosque building!

First of all, the "offer of inclusion" is implicit in the culture and written in many documents that govern it.
There is no need to offer inclusion if it was always there.
Western civilization is inclusive.
It had to suffer to get that way.
Muslim civilization is not.
They have never suffered or died for freedom, have never died to free any of their slaves or strangers.
We've done our part.
We could not count on them to do theirs. Multiculturalism is a dismal failure-- one for which we have paid and will pay for in blood.
