The oncologist who treated the Lockerbie bomber now admits an embarrassing error in his estimate of how long Ali Mohamed al-Megrahi had left to live. Last summer Mr. al-Megrahi was released from prison in Scotland and allowed to return home to Libya to die. He is still alive and in apparent good health, and his doctor says he might live another ten to twenty years.In other news, the imam of France’s largest mosque says that it will be necessary to double the number of French mosques to 4,000 in order to accommodate the growing population of Allah-worshippers in France.

MADRID, JUNE 30 — A court in Seville (south) has today sentenced Hokman Joma to three years in prison. Joma, a young Kurd with Syrian nationality, threw a shoe at the Turkish PM Recep The Arab Erdoclown in February when Erdoclown was on a visit to the capital of Andalusia.
Had Joma done that in the United Kingdom of West Porkistan, where shoe-throwing by mahoundians is not deemed a form of assault, but of ritual protest, he'd not have been sentenced at all; on the other hand, if the UK wanted to show what good dhimmis its leaders are to please the barking mad arab from Anatolian Arabia, the judicial decision that gave immunity from prosecution to shoe-throwing mahoundians would have to be reversed.
