Islamic Parking Privileges

The NYPD made a major mistake when they cut some slack for Muslim cab drivers who wanted to attend Friday prayers at a mosque in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

The cabbies had been allowed to park in no-standing zones, and even double-park, without being ticketed. The resulting street blockage became too much for local residents, and they complained. Police responded by starting to ticket and tow the offending vehicles.

Now the cab drivers are upset. They say they are victims of religious discrimination — because they are required to obey the law like anyone else.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this video:

How's that multi-culturalism working out now in the ultra liberal upper west side of Manhatttan.?

I have to say, as much as I dislike New York City - at least some of the residents are taking an actual stand and being vocal in their complaints. Good for them!

The ratchet goes one way only, and there is no such thing as a loan, only a gift, to a Muslim.

Look what is happening to Lowe's Building Supply. They foolishly advertised on the "All-American Muslim" TV show, and decided it wasn't their cup of tea after a few episodes, so they pulled their spots.

Now the All-American Muslim Keith Ellison is in high dudgeon, joined by some Multicult Leftists, and threats are being made. It would not surprise me one bit if Lowe's ends up funding the whole series and building a mosque somewhere to show goodwill.

"I don't think a Muslim would go to a Christian or church neighborhood, to go and interrupt them, i think that's why we Muslim so angry about this" -said one of the cab drivers. Besides the obviously ignorant and utterly arrogant nature to this statement when looking at how things are in countries were Islam is dominant, it also shows you the rationale behind their anger; they see the neighborhood as their own and cops upholding the law is seen as Christian harassment from outside.
