We’ve reported on the misuse of voting proxies by the PvdA in the municipal elections in Rotterdam. Now Leefbar Rotterdam — the party founded by Pim Fortuyn — is being investigated for the same type of illegal practice.In other news, the Greek crisis continues, with a new general strike paralyzing the country in protest of the government’s proposed austerity program. Public and private sector unions — including those representing the police and the emergency services — have joined together to shut the country down, and many public buildings are still occupied by protestors.
Meanwhile, the OIC has condemned the republication of Lars Vilks’ Rondellhund drawings in Swedish newspapers.

That's not entirely correct. A member of Leefbaar Rotterdam circulated an internal memo in which he indicated how people in doubt could possibly be approached, while mentioning that contacts with potential voters should remain inside the voting-laws. That's all.
While PvdA has a special officer on voting proxies, and on their website openly calls for people who have not decided yet or who are disabled to call a phone number, after which they will be transported by taxi to and from the voting booth if they will vote for PvdA. Ahmed Marcouch, the Moroccan PvdA wolf in sheep's clothing, sent 6.000 sms messages to voters, urging them to vote for him. I'd say these practices are hardly comparable.
A CDA member abused his churches list of devotees to approach and urge them to vote for him.
What happened at the voting booths themselves is uniquely limited to PvdA and immigrant voters. Although CDA has been reported to have nuns 'help' elderly people.
