A mob of more than 3,000 Muslims attacked Coptic Christians in a village near Alexandria, Egypt, looting businesses and homes and then burning them down. The pretext was an accusation that a Coptic man had an “intimate” photo of a Muslim woman on his cell phone.
In other cell phone news, North Korea has made the possession or use of a cell phone a “war crime” during the period of mourning for the late Dear Leader, Kim Jong-il.
