A Russian politician warned that an attack on Iran will be considered a threat to Russia’s national security. He also stressed that any interference with Syria by the Western powers would be “dangerous”, and called for negotiations instead.
In other news from Russia, the failed Phobos-Grunt Mars probe, which has been stuck in Earth orbit for weeks without responding to commands from the ground, finally broke up and crashed into the Pacific Ocean to the west of Chile.
