The Los Angeles car arsonist has finally been caught. Contrary to what some people expected, he is not a culture-enricher, but a young man of European extraction who was angry about the way the authorities were handling his mother’s immigration status. He is now in police custody.
In other news, Dr. Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, has defended last summer’s London rioters again, saying that we should show them love, and thereby help them to flourish.
