The leader of the CSU party, a Bavarian subsidiary of the ruling CDU (Christian Democrats) in Germany says that the government should stop allowing immigration from Muslim countries. He says it doesn’t make sense to import more people from cultures that have a great deal of difficulty assimilating into German culture.In other news from Germany, a prominent German law professor contradicts Chancellor Angela Merkel’s assertion that sharia is not being practiced in Germany. He says that sharia has been used for quite a while, mainly to regulate family and inheritance issues, and he thinks it’s a good thing.
