Nazi of the Week

Chinese neo-Nazism returns to the news, this time coming from Taiwan.

Thanks to Rocha for drawing our attention to the latest infamy: the makers of Vedan Ramen noodles have become followers of Adolf Hitler.

So it’s not just Chinatown in San Francisco, but China itself which has drunk the fascist kool-aid.

And notice that these noodles are vegetarian — just like Hitler!

The photo below says it all:

The discerning gourmand will want to give up Chinese food altogether rather than risk funding the culinary devotees of the Third Reich.

Hey, it actually makes sense. After all, Hitler was a vegetarian. Maybe this was his favorite brand of ramen.

Zenster,

There are other similarities, too.

Hitler liked dogs, and so do the Chinese, although perhaps not prepared in exactly the same manner.

I know what you mean. In China, the Chow dog isn't just a breed.

But the other nazis does not like dogs at all and I kinda doubt they are vegetarians either.

Solkhar,

The whole "Nazi of the week" thing is just a gag. It is making fun of the Leftists world wide who see Nazi's (anyone who disagrees with them on immigration, Islam etc.) hiding behind every tree.

Solkhar --

The joke is aimed at certain people who use photos out of context -- or with context provided solely by themselves -- to demonstrate that a person or an organization is "neo-Nazi".

Prominent examples have included photos of people with outstretched arms, or handling certain books at a book sale, or being seen near symbols identified as "Nazi".

I decided to have fun demonstrating that the same standards of evidence can prove that virtually anyone is a Nazi.

Everyone who knows a little about symbols know that the swastika i far more older than the inferior naziadoption of this symbol for the good in the world.
Anyway its a bad choice to put it on ones good in this time of ignorance and political correctness.

Whoever lived for any period of time in Germany, will know that the Muslims there (Turks mostly) use the word "Nazi" habitually against ethnic Germans. In a similar fashion as a word "racist" is being used in the US or other countries - usually completely out of context.

@PP

I have saw it on a different product many years ago with a friend from taiwan so it's use should be pretty common. Also in my Kenjutsu time they had a store who sold stuff to the praticcioners and they sold a key-keeper (i don't know the name in english the stick, stap, or anything like that you hold your keys) with the format of a swastika depending of your view it had good or bad luck charms on it.

So i THINK it is preety common in Asia.

Hitler would surely have exterminated the "sub-human" Chinese, given half a chance.

Wouldn't that be anything by now? I mean, noodles..?
