Saudi Arabia Lectures the EU on Human Rights

The Fjordman Report

The noted blogger Fjordman is filing this report via Gates of Vienna.
For a complete Fjordman blogography, see The Fjordman Files. There is also a multi-index listing here.

Hello from Fjordman, with thanks to the Danish blog Snaphanen. The “Human Rights Commission” of Saudi Arabia, a country where slavery was formally abolished as late as the 1960s and is still practiced more or less openly (it is allowed according to sharia law), now lectures Europeans on Islamophobia.

Notice that this is not an isolated incident; it is part of a sustained, ongoing effort with the explicit goal of surrendering half a billion Europeans to Islam. The Euro-Arab Dialogue, which this is a part of, was established in the 1970s and is rapidly progressing towards the goal of merging Europe with the Arab world. The European Union is thus formally negotiating the surrender of an entire continent, without asking their peoples about it and without even mentioning this in the major media. It is one of the greatest betrayals ever recorded in the history of Western civilization.

The EU is quite simply an evil and criminal organization which must be dismantled as soon as humanly possible. I don’t care whether some readers think this is “too harsh.” Europe’s future is being decided now.

By the way: I’ve just demonstrated that these so-called “Arab contributions to science” were largely bogus:

HRC to Address Muslim Rights Issues in Europe

Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission (HRC) will urge its counterparts in the European Union to ask their governments not to link terrorism to Islam and also to issue regulations to protect Muslims from prejudice and discrimination because of their faith. According to a source at HRC, the government-funded rights body will also address various human rights issues in Europe: when Muslims are unjustly interrogated, treated with disrespect, physically or mentally abused, or not allowed to practice their faith freely such as Muslim girls being prevented from wearing the hijab (head cover) in some schools. The points are expected to be addressed during HRC’s official participation in the Second Arab-European Dialogue on Human Rights and Terrorism, which will take place in Copenhagen on Oct.21-23. “The dialogue is significant because it is being held in Denmark, where the controversy started over the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) cartoons,” the source told Arab News.

Among topics up for discussion are “Islamaphobia” and the fear Europeans have of Muslims or Islam as a religion. People’s general attitudes toward Muslims will also be on the agenda. Another topic the rights body is expected to address is the history of Islam in Europe, specifically in Spain where Muslims contributed to the prosperity of humanity at a time when most of Europe was struggling through the Dark Ages. According to HRC, this second dialogue is expected to come up with several recommendations similar to the first dialogue held in Amman on April 18 and 19 this year. The Amman conference concluded by backing the international bill of rights and other human rights instruments, emphasizing that states are obliged to ensure that anti-terrorist measures comply with human rights standards, and stressing the importance of national human rights agencies in advising governments and monitoring anti-terrorist legislation.

The delegates urged governments, politicians and the media not to resort to discriminatory ethnic stereotypes in their battle against terrorism. In addition, the delegates recommended the establishment of an Arab-Euro working group, consisting of representatives from Arab and European human rights organizations. These working groups would be able to enter into dialogue with governments and politicians as well as professionals employed in the police force, intelligence services, the courts, civil society and the media.

Copenhagen isn't Brussels. Banning a demonstration here will not be an option. I suggest we announce a demonstration to be held where this conference is to take place, and then show up carrying placards of Motoons as well as graphic photographs documenting beheadings and lashings in Saudi Arabia, and Muslim women who have had acid thrown in their face for not wearing the veil.

Fjordman is absolutely correct, we shouldn't give a damn about being "too harsh." Are we "too harsh" for speaking out against a regime which uses its religion to impose barbaric penalties on its citizens, and which confiscates Bibles from people entering this country? Give me a break.

Trying to argue against these barbarians and their enablers in Europe is futile. However, the ugly truth displayed in graphic colour outside this conference may cause sufficient attention to this issue and considerable embarassment to the attendees. If at all possible, work permitting etc., I'm game to go. Anybody else?

Another great post by Fjordman. I should note that we should get the terminology straight. The real "Islamophobes" are the ones who say we must surrender to Islam, or else Muslims will raise Cain. Those who understand the Islamic threat, and actually propose doing something realistic about it, are conventionally labeled "Islamophobes", which is ridiculous.

If people are going to invent "phobias", at least we should dissect their meanings -- especially when our opponents have "truthophobia"!

Anti-Uffe,

Have it when it starts on the Sunday (Oct 21) and I'll be there too. Anyone in Denmark who can organize this? Which means applying for permission with the police. Deciding the time and the place and the concept and get the info out. Having an email address and a website/blog for info. And informing the press (writing a text, sending some emails). The important thing is not that we are many but that we are present (compare with the SIAD demo outside the Brussels embassy in August).

Once again, Fjordman documents problem common to both Europe and America. Our idiot-in-chief is sticking to the line, "Islam is peace." (One must concede that Islam might bring us the peace of the grave.) See the Baron's post, "The Clowns at Homeland Security" for examples of the incompetence and petty tyrannies of that bureaucracy, which continues to admit increasing numbers of Middle Eastern Muslims to the U.S. on temporary visas. To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln, both Europeans and Americans have governments of the people, by an arrogant and foolish subset of the people, for the benefit of some other people. We can only hope that our governments will soon "perish from the earth."

Rational Islamophobia is essential to our survival.

If you do not fear the infiltration of an intolerant, terroristic, anti- human rights ideology, then you're in need of a brain (or survival instincts) transplant.

Promote Rational Islamophobia.

What is rational islamophobia?
What is a secular muslim?
-----------------------------------
Somewhere I found the following comment -- as it expresses my opinion, I collected it. The suggestion is sound -- what do you think?
- - - - -
"I’m fed up with the misuse of the word phobia. If someone has no rational point for disagreement with me, they toss ‘phobe’ on the end of a word and hurl it at me during the discussion. For some reason this passes as intellectual ammo in today’s sound bite world. A ‘phobia’ is defined as a pathological fear of something or someone. It is irrational in nature and spurs unreasonable thought or action in the suffering individual. My informed disapproval or rejection of a stated action or idea does not make me a ‘phobe’ of any stripe or color simply because someone repeatedly screams it. I’m going to suggest a new word here: Islamomisos.
This should replace ‘Islamophobia’, which suggests ‘fear’ of Islam.
I have no ‘fear’ of Islam and will NOT submit. Rather, I detest it. The word is constructed of (of course) ‘Islam’, in reference to the obvious, and the Greek root word meaning ‘hatred’, which is ‘misos’. So the definitions should be something like this:

Islamomisos - detest or hatred of Islam
Islamomisoic - One who detests or hates Islam.

What do you think?"
- - - - -
At least you can replace islamofob/-ia with anti-islam-ist/-ism!
Do not use "secular muslim" use "crypto-muslim"!

I'll try and send a couple of emails to people who might be interested in taking part. You are absolutely right, this will not require a large number of participants to make it worthwhile. The whole point will be that there are people standing at the entrance where the 'tents' will enter and hold posters or hand out leaflets. I have absolutely no experience with organizing events such as this. Does handing out flyers usually require permission to demonstrate?

You might want to go over to Exile's blog and leave a comment for him. He's in Copenhagen, and has some experience with this kind of thing, and knows others who have even more.

In-

I was being ironic.

Islamophobia itself is rational response to the threat posed by resurgent, dogmatically-terroristic, expansionistic, and imperialistic Islam.

There is much to fear.

And, as you point out, much to be sickened by.
