As reported earlier today, suspected jihadis left a homemade explosive device at the railway station in Bonn yesterday. The station was cleared, and the bomb was neutralized before it could be detonated.

Our German correspondent Tiedar sends this update with the latest news from Bonn:

According to the later information, one of the suspects (Omar D., born in Somalia, who was arrested in 2008 at the Cologne/Bonn airport on suspicion of participating in jihad) has been caught. The other one is yet to be found.
