This is the Way Your Freedom Ends…

…Not with a bang, but with a whimper.

A new documentary entitled Silent Conquest has just been released. It covers a topic which regular Gates of Vienna readers are very familiar with, but which most Americans — and many Western Europeans — remain blissfully unaware of.

For the last three decades, working slowly, patiently, and carefully, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has been quietly dismantling the right to free speech in Western countries. Working through the United Nations and other international bodies, it aims to criminalize “defamation for religions” — and by “religions”, of course, it means Islam, and Islam alone.

In addition to the prominent Counterjihad activists listed in the press release, Silent Conquest features interviews with Kurt Westergaard, Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, and Lars Hedegaard, among others.

For a limited time, the entire 83-minute movie has been made available for viewing on the internet (Warning: some of the images shown in this movie may be disturbing or offensive to sensitive viewers):

The End of Freedom of Expression in the West

‘Silent Conquest’: New Movie Documents Islamist Threat to Free Speech — and Obama’s Support for It

New York: On September 25, 2012, President Obama astonished many Americans by declaring, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” This is a sentiment espoused by radical Islamist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Taliban and al Qaeda. Worse yet, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, revealed the lengths to which the Obama administration is prepared to go to enforce this view when she told the family of a former SEAL killed last month in Benghazi that the producer of a video she falsely claimed precipitated that attack would be “arrested and prosecuted.” He was subsequently taken into custody and remains in jail.

Now, a powerful documentary entitled “Silent Conquest” explains why these affronts to the U.S. Constitution’s guarantee of freedom of speech are not isolated incidents. Rather, they are part of an ominous pattern of Team Obama’s submission to the stealthy Islamist effort to enforce in this country the supremacist doctrine known as shariah and its prohibition of any expression that “offends” Islam or its god, prophet or followers.

The film features interviews with U.S. and foreign legislators, journalists, national security and other experts and Muslim, former Muslim and non-Muslim activists including:

  • Best-selling author Mark Steyn
  • Allen West, Member of Congress
  • Geert Wilders, Member of the Dutch Parliament
  • Baroness Caroline Cox, Member of the British House of Lords
  • ACT! for America founder Brigitte Gabriel
  • Middle East scholar and author Daniel Pipes
  • American Islamic Leadership Council founder Zuhdi Jasser MD
  • Former Muslim and author Nonie Darwish
  • Former Defense Department official Frank Gaffney
  • Lord Malcolm Pearson, Member of the British House of Lords
  • Naser Khader, Member of the Danish Parliament
  • Author and financial terrorism expert Rachel Ehrenfeld
  • Author Pastor Mark Durie

“Silent Conquest” offers a frightening insight into the extent to which Europe, Canada and the United Nations have already succumbed to the restrictions of shariah blasphemy laws. Its stark warning about the Obama administration’s substantial efforts to accommodate them here, as well, is a wake-up call for every American.

The documentary was produced by Sanctum Enterprises, LLC. For a limited time, “Silent Conquest” can be viewed for free at www.silentconquest.com. Freedom of speech - in each country, n different ways and similar ways, there's so much encroachment. Good that this video has been made. Vital: successful counter-strategies. One such strategy is, of course, to increase awareness of what is happening.

obama's theatric whole cloth lie about the reason for bengazi and his reprimand in the UN that slander of islams so called profet is unaceptable was a twofer for him.

he wants to advance the notion of respecting islam to the detriment of the american way of life and free speach, and he hoped to misdirect the people of america away from his innaction and the islamic terrorists responsiblity for the murder of 4 americans.

I've watched the movie, and throughout it a sinister suspicion gained more and more strength: Are the governments of countries, that are dependent on oil imports from islamic countries, being blackmailed into implementing all these restrictions on speech? If it is that easy to impose submission and enforce compliance, then our stance is even much weaker than I thought.

I thought it a very good film. I would say that K from Germany has an interesting point...
The other thing that bothered me was the "fuzzing out" of all cap[tions that might disturb Muslims. Why do that? These film makers are going to produce a provacative film. In the final analysis they couldn't even produce one of the Danish cartoons.
I actually think that this is a substantial part of our problem.

Interesting movie , yet contradiction , talking about widespread dhimmitude.

Highlighting the brave fighters like Geert Wilders and his battle to get the word out about the true nature of islam.

Yet blurring all images that has been in the news the last 10 years over and over again.

A man a man , a word a word , don`t display dhimmitude bacause it clearly shows that even on this field Islam has already won

“If they should once obtain a connivance, they will press for a toleration, from thence to an equality, from an equality to a superiority, from a superiority to an extirpation of all contrary religions.” ( John Pym 1584-1643.)

What no one is discussing nor addressing is the enevitable backlash that PC and our western leaders bowing down too and groveling before the OIC demands with the Quislings approach to appeasement. All these fine people discussing and warning of muslim encroachment to our way of life are the proverbial canaries in the coal mine, but what is not being discussed speaks volumes, and that being what are the repercussions going to be and are people of the west going to go quietly into the night, or are they going to go the way of our ancestors and go completely nationalistic and give the muslims a taste of the old ways? Personally I truly believe that we have already hit the crossroads of history and war is all but enevitable, it is only going to take someone of either side falling on the fuse to blow this whole house of cards to its very bloody conclusion. The muslims to their horror will rue the day they awoke that dragon of old and invited his wrath for he won't care if they are peaceful or not, for the dragon will feed untill there is no muslim or sympathizers left to feed upon and then go back to a fitful restfull sleep. Until the need arises again.

Afterall, 'Governments being blackmailed' seems to be quite an obvious reason

Were the inoffensive images blurred out as a device to emphasise the threat posed by Mohammedan barbarism? There is a black irony in that, which reflects the risks of legal action facing anyone who speaks the truth about the threat facing Western civilisation. Had our leaders the courage to stand up to Moslem rabble rousers I'm sure that the rank and file would quickly settle down and make some effort, however limited, to assimilate. As it is, trapped in the mediaeval ghettoes of their 'communities', they see that those who govern their host counties haven't the strength to protect them so follow the dictates of their self-appointed cultural 'leaders'.

We need to start talking about the futility of respecting other people's delusions.
