Fjordman notes that “This essay is a reply to attacks from writer Marie Simonsen in the left-wing pro-Multicultural Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.”
Multicultural Extremists
by Peder Jensen, a.k.a. Fjordman
Being critical of Islam or multiculturalism isn’t right-wing extremism, writes Peder Jensen. Also known as Fjordman.
Fjordman: “It is my opinion, supporters of non-European mass immigration are extremists, not the opponents of this,” writes Peder Jensen.
Dagbladet’s Marie Simonsen has repeatedly attacked me in this newspaper’s columns, most recently on 25 October. She writes that the author “ seems unable to participate in a public debate, where he would meet resistance .” Okay.
I hereby challenge her to show how many places in the world with large Muslim populations have shown the ability to live peacefully with their non-Muslim neighbors over a long period of time. I will respond with an article.
Being critical of Islam or multiculturalism isn’t right-wing extremism. Popular resistance against Islamization is now beginning to spread far into the traditional left. Thilo Sarrazin, for example, is a member of the SPD, the Social Democratic Party of Germany and thus a sister party of the Norwegian Labour Party, and even to those who were at Utøya.
But let’s not talk about such things; it will make it much harder for outlets, including Dagbladet, to demonize people they do not like, and it would be sad.
In my opinion, supporters of non-European mass immigration are the extremists, not the opponents of it. Is it not extreme to displace the native population in many parts of Europe, as is happening now?
An ideology can hardly be more radical than to deprive the indigenous population of its homeland across an entire continent, and then suppress all opposition to this policy.
Marie Simonsen wrote in the spring of 2007 that it should be considered a universal human right for all people around the world to move wherever they want to.
Considering that the world’s population is expected to increase by billions of people over the next decades, and that the population growth in just a single country, Pakistan, is sufficient to crush a tiny country like Norway in just a few years, one is forced to conclude that Simonsen doesn’t like the continuing existence of the Norwegians as a people.
Since hardly anyone in mainstream media contradicted her at the time, as far as I know, one must assume that this view is widespread in the press corps. If that is the case, we have a problem.

Thats an easy challenge Sir the answer of course being none, nil, nada, zilch, zero perhaps Marie Simonsen will come up with a different amount and enlighten us as to how many countries with large muslim populations co-exist peacefully with non-muslims over to you Marie Simonsen we are all ears or should I say all Infidels !!
Have i got this right? Dagbalet, the Norwegian "...left wing pro- Multicultural newspaper" has published an article by Fjordman? That's good isn't it? But how is it explained? Are the multiculturalists really willing to put their argument to the test? Are they that confident that their world view can stand examination? What makes them risk having the cat escape the bag?
And another point if I may: I've been reading Fjordman for a few years; he is a man who's pen is indeed mightier than the sword. This latest piece is rapier-like in its precision. Where is the argument to counter it? How can the establishment benefit from its publication?
I'm surprised that Dagbladet was open minded enough to publish this little, affecting piece.
I am sure there are quite a few members of the CounterJihad who would be willing and capable of strongly debating appropriate issues in a mutually agreed upon venue. Let Dagbladet/Simonsen pick their representative.
Note, however, that if the debate is held in the USA, the pro-Jihad choice may have to satisfy US State Department visa requirements and Homeland Security checks.
Gandhi allegedly said: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win".
Fjordman is now well past the first stage and Dagbladet is now trying to make him look laughable (wheelchair caricature is on the same trail). Inevitably, other two stages will follow as well.
I don't think Dagbladet had a choice to publish or not. I believe it is the law in Norway that individuals who are criticized in a Norwegian Newspaper have the right to respond to said criticism in the publication. So as far as Dagbladet being "open minded" I seriously doubt this is the case.
Either way, I'm very happy to see Fjordman's work published in a major Norwegian Newspaper. That law means the more the criticize him, the more he has an opportunity to respond. Since the Lefts' position is unsustainable and they know it, they dig their own grave by criticizing Fjordman. However, at this point its impossible to ignore him because of the force and reach of his argument.
Essentially, the ball is in Fjordman's court.
I just sent a post but got a not sent report of garbled meaning. So I'll be brief:
Fjordman: don't let the bastards grind you down.
Continue using the name Fjordman not your real name.
After the "reply to" type texts get back to your old style.
I wish I had your energy and productivity.
My brother is informed to left-wing facts (as he's a radical left winged) but yesterday he reproached me because i was defending the Fremskrittpartiet and the Sverigedemokraterna after when in TV, journalist made them look like nazifascist, claiming they encourage violence against foreign. I don't know where asking to embrace local culture and learn local language is violence. Is normal, if i go in Norway, i have to learn norwegian and to embrace norwegian culture. My brother knows nothing about Fremskittpartiet and Sverigedemokraterna except what left-wing propaganda say.
This kind of attitude is a one-way street. You never hear the left saying that everyone should settle in some destitute third world nation. Rather, they blather on about outsiders coming in, wrecking the land, endangering indigenous cultures and so forth. Such damaging policies are only expected in traditionally European countries only. That is not an accident.
