A Rosetta Stone for Pat Condell

Rosetta StoneA couple of days ago Pat Condell released an excellent video about the assault on free speech in Europe, giving special attention to the court cases against Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff and Geert Wilders.

Mr. Condell’s inspired polemic was so effective that several people decided to translate it for subtitling. This is not an official “Rosetta Stone” initiative, but if anyone does translate the transcript and wants to add subtitles in their own language, please let me know.

The first three subtitled versions of the video are Dutch, French, and German. All three videos are embedded below the jump.

Many thanks to VH, Bear, and Liz for the translations, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling. A full English transcript with time stamps is available here for anyone who needs it.

Any and all of Pat Condell's videos that deal with Islam merit inclusion in this project. His work is some of the most concise, hard hitting and ridicule-laden material to be found on the Internet. It pulls no punches and gives no quarter wherever Muslims rear their ugly little beturbaned heads.

This man has all the eloquence of a latter day Churchill.

Zenster, you are right.

However, it is better to select a single video and make a concerted effort to get that one out in as many languages as possible. Manpower is limited, not least those with skills in translating and subtitling.

There is good reason to wish for more resources for activities like this. In the meantime, it's the art of what's possible. And this one sure deserves Rosetta Stoning :)

I agree. In the meantime, I'll try to review all of Condell's videos in order to create a prioritized list that best serves the purpose of counter-jihad.

For instance, as alluded to in the OP, Condell's "The Crooked Judges of Amsterdam" would be a perfect accompaniment for his "Free Speech in Europe" in that it deals with the trial of Geert Wilders, yet another victim targeted by the same ongoing perversion of European justice.

Zenster, good idea to do such a list!

That's a practical tool for volunteer Rosetta Stoners, who can pick and choose which ones to do.

"Crooked Judges of Amsterdam" is a good first choice. I recommend watching each one to the end, for some have strange points about "Islam being hijacked" etc., stuff that makes little sense when measure up against reality.

Can I have the English transcript, so that I translate it in Albanian? Are you interested on that? Best regards.

Again, I agree completely. Let me see what I can do to create an index with some content notes about each video's high points.

Condell has addressed some of the most pertinent aspects of Islam and jihad. He also seems to have rather quickly evolved away from the "small minority of hijackers" taqiyya that continues to be swallowed whole by so many Multiculturalists even as they choke on Free Speech gnats.
