Barack Obama’s Muslim Faith

Hey, that’s not my wording. It comes from the candidate himself.

B. Hussein Obama was being interviewed by George Stephanopoulos last night on ABC — which is as friendly an interviewer and venue as he could hope for — and was being lobbed the usual softballs that one would expect from a former Clintonoid media shill.

Then Mr. Obama misspoke himself. Or made a Freudian slip, inadvertently letting out a basic truth about his religious beliefs.

We report, you decide. Here’s what was said:

And here’s the transcript:
- - - - - - - - -
Stephanopoulos: You mention your Christian faith. Yesterday you took off after the Republicans for suggesting you have Muslim connections. Just a few minutes ago, Rick Davis, John McCain’s campaign manager, said they’ve never done that. This is a false and cynical attempt to play victim.
Obama: You know what? I mean, these guys love to throw a rock and hide their hand. The…
Stephanopoulos: The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim connections.
Obama: No, no, no. But the — I don’t think that when you look at what is being promulgated on Fox News, let’s say, and Republican commentators who are closely allied to these folks —
Stephanopoulos: But John McCain said that’s wrong.
Obama: Now, well, look. Listen. You and I both know that the minute that Governor Palin was forced to talk about her daughter, I immediately said that’s off limits. And —
Stephanopoulos: But John McCain said the same thing about questioning your faith.
Obama: And what was the first thing the McCain’s campaign went out and did? They said, look, these liberal blogs that support Obama are out there attacking Governor Palin. Let’s not play games. What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come —
Stephanopoulos: Christian faith.
Obama: —my Christian faith. Well, what I’m saying is that he hasn’t suggested —
Stephanopoulos: Has connections, right.
Obama: — that I’m a Muslim. And I think that his campaign’s upper echelons have not, either. [emphasis added]

Barack Obama is turning out to be a lot more of a fun candidate than I thought he would be. When he’s on the teleprompter, we’re subject to a steady drone of predictable lefty-Dem boilerplate: healthcare, hope, change, empowerment, justice, etc blah yak, yes we’ve all heard it before, please don’t make us sit through it again…

But then you get him off-script, and you never know what he’ll say. He whines about how unfairly he’s being treated, how unfortunate he is, and what all those evil Republicans are doing to him. Or he’s incoherent and idiotic.

Or he talks about his Muslim faith.

It’s going to be a great campaign.

Fascinating... this does not surprise me at all.

Please see this link which shows what actually took place. he never admitted to being a Muslim he merely talked about the McCain camp accusing him of being one and then admitted that they did not do so. It was truly innocuous slip. http://tiny.cc/3BiEv I hope this tiny URL works

It is more likely he is neither Muslim nor Christian. He is after all The One.
No one in his church is Christian. These are people who wish to indulge in the attitudes of black Muslims without having to wear bow ties and sell papers in traffic.
For Obama, it was a way in to the "black community", and religious cover for his early background.
He is trying to juggle away many imperfect calculations, but lying is a demanding master.

He said what he said. I don't think even Sigmund would find a quibble with it.
There is a great deal of circumspection involved over his muslim background, but hearing those words, from his own mouth, are very telling, to me.
His alleged church, was led by the racist Reverend Wright, who had been a member of the Nation of Islam, just prior, was and is close friends with Louis Farrakhan.
Also, B-HO has a number of NoI members on his Senate staff, both in Chicago and D.C., as well as his election campaign, based on Debbie Schleussel's research.
He is a liar about everything, and he still won't produce a birth certificate, college transcript, or medical report.
Caveat Emptor, indeed.

I don't need to declare him a Muslim to disagree with him. There are many, many policy positions with which I disagree that over ride any faith affiliation, even the whacked out religion of J. Wright... Nevermind his going back to Indonesia days. I just disagree with the man on almost every policy decision he has made clear to me... Religion is secondary in this instance.

Cui prodest. Who profits? Who gains?

Don't be so naive fellow Americans. Do you believe that a nameless, obscure nigro individual without any achievement, name recognition, all of the sudden became a presidential subject out of the thin air?
All that on his own?
Come on folks...

Who are behind this guy?
Whose interest does he represent?

You'd better find out or else ...there will be bitter awakening and very soon.

As well as race, I guess I feel comeplled to say...

I had referenced a NYSlimes article about B-HO several times here.
Well, it has been scrubbed from the NYSlimes archives.
They must have been getting too many hits on it, since B-HO's statement over the weekend.
This issue isn't any more or less relevant than the radical Marxist ideology he espouses, but it is important, as it continues to reflect on how disingenuous he is, on everything.

Muslim? No. Islamist enabler? Absolutely.

He's focused so intently on what he must not say that the says it. This is nothing more than Obama in meltdown mode. He knows he's running a con and he also is beginning to realize that he is in over his head. He consistently gets flustered and confused when questioned. Obama's problem is that he doesn't know what he believes. I am really puzzled at the myth that he is a great communicator. George Bush stumbles for the right words to communicate his ideas. Obama fumbles around looking for the idea to communicate. There's the fruits of relativism for you on full display: analysis paralysis.

I am so relieved to see the Obama sham collapsing and media partisanship exposed.

But remember, if you don't vote for him, you're a racist! /sarc

I'm sure we'll keep hearing that, but at a decreasing rate. That game is just about over, too. I think this Obama charade has done a great deal to torpedo white guilt and expose it for the dysfunctional psychology that it is.

I also believe that man-child Obama is not not Muslim because I think his wife would beat him to a bloody pulp if he ever suggested she wear a burka. I think I know who wears the pants in that family. :-)

There's a far better argument against Obama in the radical Black Liberation Theology taught by his 'church' of 20 years. Pursuing the muslim line is weak and counterproductive in my opinion.

I agree that Obama is not Muslim himself (but sympathetic toward them because of his childhood experiences and the unearned respect he gives his Muslim father.)

Neither is he Christian though, for sitting in a black supremacist church listening to hate filled rants and bigotry against whites for twenty years without even a twinge of understanding that this is not remotely a Christian message of brotherly love.

He's a marxist, therefore atheist and used that particular church to be plugged into the black power base in Chicago. It also provided convenient ammunition against the accusations that he knew had to come eventually about his being a Muslim on the basis of his father's and stepfather's religion and his attendance at a Muslim school.

His other "religion" is narcissism. He worships at the altar of himself, having written not one but two autobiographies about a life bereft of real achievement. His wife worships there too, as demonstrated by her blurting out the truth - that she is only proud of Americans who support her empty suit of a husband with his warmed over and juvenile marxism.

Why do we not know whether one or both of the Obamas benefited from affirmative action to get into their Ivy League schools? Neither appears to have the big brain they're credited with. He stumbled around again in this interview. Her thesis about how hard it was to be a black at Princeton was completely lame (really had to dig into the research there LOL). His handlers had to put a muzzle on her and turned her into the perfect Stepford wife.

They're clever in pursuit of money and glory, but intelligent? The jury's out on that one. I deduct twenty !Q points on the marxism alone as one should have grown out of fantasies by one's forties and admitted the demonstrated inferiority of marxism everywhere it goes head to head with capitalism:

2 as near to controlled experiments as possible:

East vs West Germany

North vs South Korea

and throw in

South America vs North America for fun.

An excellent piece with good sources at the end.
Who is باراك حسين أسام

Obama’s Arab name and Muslim heritage by itself, only raises the need for further query. It leads us to no automatic conclusions.

Instead, it leads only to a list of reasonable questions that anyone seeking the power of the Oval Office must be willing to answer. Any candidate, except Obama, with the same background should and would be asked the exact same questions. But, it’s apparently an act of racism to ask America’s first “black” candidate the most glaringly obvious questions.

• How did you get an Arab name and why don’t you want to talk about it?
• How did someone from such meager beginnings afford Occidental, Columbia and Harvard without ever holding down a paying job?
• Who is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour (aka Donald Warden)? When did you meet him and how has he played a role in your life?
• Were you ever part of the Black Panther or Saul Alinsky “community organizing” effort?
• When and where did you first become close friends with convicted Weatherman terrorist William Ayers, who obviously helped you launch your political career in his Chicago home?
• Who is Saul Alinsky and what did he teach you about “community organizing?”
• Who are the seventy five billionaire “bundlers” and who gave them the millions to finance your bid for the White House?
• Who is Mohammed Hasan Chandoo and why did you spend three weeks with him in Pakistan in the early 80’s, under your Indonesian name and passport?
• Why did Percy Sutton write a letter to help you get into Harvard? If it wasn’t Dr. Khalid al-Mansour who asked him to write the letter, who was it?

These are just a few of the questions candidate Obama should be happy to lay to rest with open and direct answers. Though nobody in the lamestream press is asking yet, a few in the New Media are asking the right questions...

Of course, the LSM won't ask any of those questions. He makes their legs tingle.
So he continues to obfuscate and lie, thinking he can slide into the presidency, on hopiness and changiness.

Also, if you ever wanted to know what a "community organizer" does, click on the iowahawk link on the blog roll, he explains it all.

I'm so tired of this crap.

There's no credible evidence that B. Hussein is a believing and practicing mohammedan.

But there's PLENTY of reason to believe that he was raised and educated as a mohammedan throughout the formative years of his childhood!

How many American presidents have been raised outside of Christian culture in a foreign country? Doh!

I really don't care if B. Hussein is by some narrow legal definition an American citizen, or if he was born on American soil before being whisked off to Kenya or Indonesia or wherever he went first.

He did not have an American upbringing and education.

He took communism with his mother's milk and mohammedanism on his daddy's knee.

So far as his very public "Christianity" is concerned, I am not the least bit impressed by his black liberation "church", with its "God damn America" pastor.

This person has foreign reflexes and sentiments, and a hostile attitude towards white folks.

That he is a candidate for the presidency is nothing short of a damning symptom of cultural and educational rot in the US.

But he will lose the election.
