The premise behind the entire operation is that the “legitimate aspirations of the people of Kosovo” deserve recognition and require the construction of a new country in order to be realized. Both major political parties in the USA and much of the American media are in agreement: Kosovo will be a reliable American ally and a force for stability in the region. The fact that the Kosovars are Muslims is irrelevant; they’re not radicals, after all; they’re “moderate Muslims”. They have nothing to do with Al Qaeda and other violent international Islamist groups.
The facts on the ground belie this notion. The Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), which seized effective control of the province after the 1999 air war forced Serbian government forces out, received major funding and support from the “charitable” Wahhabist networks controlled by Saudi Arabia.
Yes, it’s true that the KLA was (and is) a criminal enterprise, running weapons into the region and drugs into the whole of Europe, and pimping a vast white slave trade in underage Eastern European girls. But none of this is contradictory to Islam. Militant Islam is often functionally indistinguishable from organized crime. Such activities don’t violate the dictates of the Koran, as long as all the victims are infidels.
And now a terrorist leader (or rather, according to the AP, a “guerrilla fighter”) has been named Defense Minister of the new government in Kosovo. The United States has no problem with this, even though it’s the equivalent of Ayman al-Zawahiri assuming a ministerial post in Afghanistan, or Abu Musab al-Zarqawi joining the al-Maliki administration in Baghdad.
The irony of the situation is this: Filip Dewinter is considered by the bien-pensants to be unfit even for the office of dogcatcher because there was a cross on his bookshelf. The “legitimate aspirations of the people of Flanders” will never be acknowledged by the oh-so-fastidious elites of the United States and the EU.
Yet there’s no problem with installing an Islamic terrorist as the defense minister of a newly-independent Kosovo. Does that make any sense?
Here’s the story from Serbianna. Note: the first three paragraphs are from the Associated Press, but the rest is Serbianna’s own material:
Terrorist Assigned for Kosovo Military Post- - - - - - - - -
Kosovo’s authorities have named a former guerrilla fighter as defense minister.
Officials say Fehmi Mujota, 45, was named Monday to head Kosovo’s Security Force. It is a lightly armed force that will have 2,500 active members and 800 reservists.
An international plan that paved the way for Kosovo to declare independence from Serbia on Feb. 17 says the yet-to-be-formed force will initially be responsible for crisis response and civil protection.
The Mujota clan has long been involved in weapons smuggling.
Fadil Mujota who goes by the alias “Cubi” was born on July 17th, 1969, in the village of Malopoljce, Municipality of Štimlje.
Prior to 1998, Mujota, together with his father Sadik and his cousin Bajrush, were engaged in the illegal trade in weapons and ammunition. He was arrested in 1993, but he soon escaped abroad. He remained in Switzerland and Germany until 1998, when he returned to Malopoljce and joined KLA, taking over the command of the terrorist group in that village.
This group was directly subordinated to the KLA General Staff located in the village of Jezerce, and organized and carried out terrorist attacks on the Štimlje-Uroševac and Štimlje-Crnoljevo routes, kidnapped and abused Albanians loyal to the Republic of Serbia (Naim Shabani, from the village of Vojnovci). Beside that, Mujota illegally crossed the border with Albania and took part in the acquisition and delivery of weapons for KLA’s use.
Following the withdrawal of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the YA forces from K&M, he continued his terrorist activities with the intention of ethnically cleansing the non-Albanian population from K&M.
He purchased a number of Gypsy houses on the Štimlje-Lipljan route and, in mid-June 1999, following his orders, in the private house of Mujota’s cousin in Štimlje, an improvised jail was set up for Serbs and Gypsies. After the establishment of KPC, he was placed in the army barracks in Uroševac.
However, after a certain period of time, he filed an application to be demobilized, since he was not satisfied with his rank and the treatment he received. Along with Xhabir Zharku, he heads a criminal group from the village of Malopoljci and is one of the organizers of the illegal acquisition and resale of narcotics in the region of Gnjilane.
These narcotics arrive in K&M from Albania, via Tetovo (FYROM). He is involved in the trafficking in human beings where he collaborates with Jetulah Çari, aka “Guri”, from Suva Reka. Çari is the owner of a facility in the village of Rechane where a certain number of girls from Russia, Rumania and Bulgaria are kept. Mujota’s main connection with the trafficking in human beings is an Albanian called Balem, from Štimlje, from the Beqaj family.

Now, why does this not surprise me at all? Hm, I wonder...
And what do you bet that those people who had a problem with Filip Dewinter's cross will post absolutely nothing about this? I, of course, speak of LGF.
I'm just so sick of all this Kosovo rubbish I could scream. Kosovo is rightfully Serbia's. I for one will never consider it a separate country.
Thank you Baron and KGS, nice article, good work. What we need is pieces like this to not stop flowing around!
I really apreciated it but for the most hatefull reasons, sadly.
Well, Natalie, the truth is that t is not Serbian because there is no Serbs there, we'll have to wait untill the next ethnic cleansing of the area but I assure you, this time it will be justified, and Kosovo will be Serbian again. After conratulating Baron, I'll tell you all a small truly (and veridic) inspiring story.
Baron, let me congratulate you once more for what you said in the article:
"Yes, it’s true that the KLA was (and is) a criminal enterprise, running weapons into the region and drugs into the whole of Europe, and pimping a vast white slave trade in underage Eastern European girls. But none of this is contradictory to Islam. Militant Islam is often functionally indistinguishable from organized crime. Such activities don’t violate the dictates of the Koran, as long as all the victims are infidels."
I think that even more important than the clarification of militant islam (if I was an "anti", I'd take that as a mere demonisation, lacking proofs for it), is the following:
"it’s true that the KLA was (and is) a criminal enterprise, running weapons into the region and drugs into the whole of Europe, and pimping a vast white slave trade in underage Eastern European girls. (...) Çari is the owner of a facility in the village of Rechane where a certain number of girls from Russia, Rumania and Bulgaria are kept. Mujota’s main connection with the trafficking in human beings is an Albanian called Balem, from Štimlje, from the Beqaj family." ... "white slave (girls)" ...
It is still happening, but it sounds like an oximoron just because some friends of ours like to get the exclusivity on slavery.
But the thing is, in Eastern Europe the Turks and the Albanians are really forcing an intire generation of European women and girls as old as nine (where did I saw this earlier?) to a life of abuse and prostitution. As a matter of fact, that does already happen in Brittain, well if I was in Bradford I'd classify every non BNP-member white men as a sadistic coward, happy with the slaughtering of their own's community girls at the hands of multiculturalism...
Remember Madeleine McCain? Well, in Eastern Europe it happens daily, and their communities do not have an option like the Britts of Bradford.
I'll just tell you the inspiring Story:
In the VIII century, in the zenit of muslim advance in the Peninsula, when only a small fraction of the North West of the Peninsula was in the hands of the Christians never to be conquered by the African invaders, when the majority of South Eastern France was in the hands of the muslims, the muslims demanded nine beautifull young Christian virgin girls (less than 20 years old?) per year from the North Western Christian Kingdom (in one version I heard the deliver was to be made two days after the Christmas to demoralise the faith of the Christians) to satisfy the high ranks of the muslim troops. When the Christians did conquered all the Peninsula and the muslims had only a little non powerfull kingdom in the South East, the Christians did never did something of the sort. Never. Was it the religion or was it something else? Hmm...
Another Story:
When the Christians got stronger and stronger and had conquered almost half of the Peninsula in the X century, the muslims called a great fundamentalist leader from Morocco, Al Mansur. Al Mansur delayed te Reconquista for three centuries and made razias (penetrations deeply into the enemy lines in order to destroy and to stole) that were inimaginable. He made it deep into the North West to where no muslim had gone and ordered to a group of religeous Christian men to take the Santiago de Compostela's Cathedral's Bells that weight several tons into the mosque of Córdova. More than 1000 Kms under the Spanish Sun - like that in Texas - and throug many moutains.
Two hundred years later, a group of muslim slaves had to do the same but in the opposite way.
The bells are still in Santiago de Compostela (St. James's field of the Stars in English or something of the like...).
The same will happen in South East Europe very soon...
Isn't this a "Dog Bites Man" story?
