Yes, re Libya sometime it's "better the devil you know", and "be careful what you wish for"
Only muslim countries with secular dictators keep the islamists out. The "rebels" are not only crying freedom but allula akbar in the streets so we can see where this would go.
Of course they may get some brief freedom until the islamists take over then at least half (female) the population will lose theirs.
Obama has gone too far in stipulating that Gadaffi's forces should retreat from the towns they have RE-gained. This is a civil war for goodness sake!
Butt out I say and as far as my prime minister Cameron is concerned it's about time he saw the elephant in the room before it tramples us all.
Any follow-up on the Fogel family?
May Buddha bless Israel !!

The European Court for Human Rights has ruled Italy has the right to have crucifixes in the country’s schools.
end quote.
A European court rules on whether or not Italy can hang crucifixes in their schools?
I think the European government has far, far too much power.
That is tyranny.
The content of a nation's culture is the province of the nation!
Always!

Dying to Establish Islam.
Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.
Muslims don't die to establish anything. They kill to establish Islam, they kill for Islam, they destroy.
Their own destruction is meaningless to them, provided they can take the greatest number of the infidels and their own with them.
The idea of martyrdom is unique to Christianity, because Christ is the model for it.
Islam has no models for martyrdom-- their "prophet" is a role model only for the selfishness of criminals, not for self-sacrifice or self-denial.
In fact, let me just add that the very concept of martyrdom, when applied to Islam is debased.
Islam debases and mocks every discourse it touches.
Caroline Glick: Israel’s Indivisible Legitimacy
According to New York’s Jewish Week, there is a new consensus in the American Jewish community that imposing an economic boycott on Israeli communities outside the 1949 armistice lines is a legitimate position. The paper interviewed Martin Raffel, the head of the new Israel Action Network, a multimillion-dollar effort by the Jewish Federations of North America and other major Jewish groups to counter the delegitimization of Israel.
Raffel called the boycott movement misguided, rather than wrong. Then he justified it by arguing, “Being misguided in one’s policies doesn’t mean one necessarily has become part of the ranks of the delegitimizers.”
BALONEY! Far too many Jews in America and Europe are purposefully meddling in the counterjihad even as they sabotage Israel's own attempts to protect itself.
This lunacy is going to lend a lot of undesirable momentum to lingering Antisemitism in many corners of the globe and introduce such a schism in Jewish affairs that the net result will be total mayhem both for and against Jews.
If that wasn’t enough, Ron Kampeas, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s Washington bureau chief, wrote Tuesday that we shouldn’t rush to conclude that Palestinians carried out the attack.
Kampeas wrote, “We do not yet know who committed the awful butchery in Itamar over the weekend.”
Again, what are these morons smoking? This same article goes on to note that: "Two PA intelligence officers were arrested as part of the Fogel murder investigation." What more evidence do they need?
Israel needs to institute a policy whereby every rocket attack sees a hectare of land taken from the "Palestinians" which will never, ever be returned.
Each terrorist attack that wounds any Israels sees five hectares taken per victim wounded.
Each terrorist attack that kills Israelis sees ten, or more, hectares taken per fatality which will never, ever be returned.
Maybe when the "Palestinians" have crowded themselves onto a last remaining postage stamp-sized parcel of land will they begin to rethink their idiotic genocidal drink.
Until then, if it is a "land of their own" that the "Palestinians" want so badly, then start taking away that "land" until they grow a brain and stop the terrorist attacks. No other policy will have the slightest effect save flushing Gaza into the Sinai and emptying the West Bank into Jordan.
