Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/10/2011French President Nicolas Sarkozy is reportedly planning to propose bombing attacks on Col. Moammer Qaddafi’s bunker in Tripoli, where the Libyan dictator is said to be holed up with his sons. Italy has announced that it will not support any such actions against Libya.

Meanwhile, Saudi police fired on protesters in an attempt to discourage even greater protests during tomorrow’s planned “Day of Rage”. The Saudis are worried about possible violent unrest, particularly in the eastern Shia-dominated region of the country.

In other news, six Greek banks have had their bond ratings downgraded by Moody’s.

To make it smart, you'll have to do much more than protect one Imam.
If Islam is so tolerant, then why, in a country that declares itself to be the "Land of the Pure" is blasphemy illegal?
