Wilders on Trial

Free Geert banner

Geert Wilders has launched a website that will cover his trial as it proceeds. This is a smart move, especially since one version of the site is in English. The international media, when they cover the trial at all, will parrot the “racism” party line. And, as Lawrence Auster points out, American journalists are so parochial that they will scarcely notice the trial — unless an American angle somehow emerges from it.

So this is the site to watch:

Dutch politician Geert Wilders launches websites on political trial

Wednesday February 3rd 2010 Dutch politician Geert Wilders launches two websites on the political trial against him and the freedom of speech. From now on both the Dutch (www.wildersproces.nl) and the international public (www.wildersontrial.com) are able to keep up with the trial’s proceedings.

Both websites not only include the latest news on the trial but also provide background information on the trials’ participants, the summons, the cause and the importance of this trial for freedom of speech in the Netherlands and — possibly — for the whole of Europe [and for the whole of Western Civilization — BB].

Geert Wilders: “This trial is not just about me. It is about the future of freedom of speech in the Netherlands. The outcome of this trial affects the freedom of all Dutch citizens. With these websites, I want to make it possible for people to follow the latest developments concerning the trial.”

Links to both websites:

www.wildersproces.nl (Dutch version)

It’s hard for people outside the Netherlands to realize that this is the trial of the century. For those parts of the world that still cling to the tattered shreds of Christian civilization, the outcome of the Geert Wilders trial is of enormous importance.

The judicial fate of a single Dutchman will help determine whether we can rekindle the dying embers of our culture, or whether instead we must shuffle off meekly into the twilight of dhimmitude and sharia.

History — assuming that there will be any written that is not in Arabic — will record this as a defining moment. But most of us are unaware of its significance. We’ll continue to snooze away through it, or stare raptly at the wall-to-wall screens showing Barack Obama’s face — as if he were important.

God help us all.

I fear most that he will eventually be extradited to Jordan. Now when Euromed is in power we cannot exclude such a move from the elites. If he gets prosecuted in a sharia country for defaming islam, all he will get is a nice new neck-tie...
