Clare Lopez on Iran, 9-11, and the Twelfth Imam

Below is an interview with Clare Lopez, a senior fellow with the Center for Security Policy and an expert on Iran. In this video Ms. Lopez discusses recently released evidence of Iranian government complicity in the 9-11 attacks. She also talks about the “Twelfth Imam” ideology to which Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad adheres, and the fact that the date June 5, 2011 is somehow significant in relation to the reappearance of the “occluded” imam. Another topic of discussion is the collusion between Iran and Hugo Chavez in the building of medium-range missile sites in Venezuela.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for YouTubing this interview:

Shibboleth meets Monolith.

There has already been well-substantiated evidence of Iran sequestering bin Laden's third eldest son, Saad bin Laden. Additional information points towards Iranian complicity in providing safe harbor, transit or medical aid and assistance to al Qaeda operatives fleeing Afghanistan.

Any concrete verification of Iran's culpability with respect to the 9-11 atrocity should, for once and all time, demolish arguments against the relatively monolithic character of Islam.

It should come as no surprise that hatred of the "Great Satan" and the West in general could motivate cooperation which transcended any of Islam's traditional sectarian schisms.

All that remains to be seen is whether the West is capable of assimilating the tremendously important message that this conveys.

"Tiny minority" or not, there exists a sufficient number of cooperating interdenominational Muslims whereby Western interests are put at risk to such an extent that preemptive nuclear strikes ― something I have historically opposed ― may, indeed, become a simple necessity.

In light of Ahmadinejad's apocalyptic "end times" vision, confiscation or in situ dismembering of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal along with categorical demolition of Iran's atomic weapons programs emerge as strategic imperatives with respect to the ultimate survival of Western civilization.

This is so insane. Back in his days, Hitler was also supposed to be the 12th imam, which sort of explains why it reportedly was Muslims who made the last stand for him in Berlin.

June 5th is Danish Constitution Day, BTW :)
