Russia is Called to Join the Ummah

Russian double eagle + Ummah

A Russian imam is unhappy with the double eagle, Russia’s official coat of arms. He thinks it has two many crosses on it, and is thus unfair to Muslims. He wants one of the crosses be replaced with the crescent moon to symbolize Russia’s Muslims.

To illustrate the imam’s demands, I’ve modified the double eagle above by replacing a cross with a crescent on the eagle’s head at the left side of the image. I’ve also taken the liberty of replacing the eagle’s scepter with a scimitar, which seems only fair, given that the other claw is holding an orb with yet another — horrors! — cross on top of it.

The imam says that 18% of Russia’s population is Muslim. He may be overestimating the figure somewhat — it’s usually given as 10%-15%. However, his point is clear: when the Muslim population of an infidel country passes a certain percentage, the representatives of the Ummah in that country begin to demand their rights under sharia, fomenting violence as required to enforce their demands. We can argue about what the cut-off percentage is, but it’s well under 50%, and almost certainly under 25%.

Russia already endures more terrorist attacks — mostly by Chechens — than any country in Western Europe or North America. It was inevitable that they would be given the Call to Islam, and now the process has begun.

Here’s the story from Hurriyet:

Top Imam ‘Calls for Crescent on Russia’s Crest’

A top Muslim cleric called Friday for a crescent moon to be added to Russia’s double-headed eagle coat of arms to represent the country’s multi-million-strong Muslim population.

“We are asking for one of the heads to be topped with a crescent moon and the other to be topped with a Russian Orthodox cross,” Talgat Tadzhuddin told the Moskovskiye Novosti daily in an interview.

“All the crowns on the coat of arms – two on the heads of the eagles and one above them in the middle – are topped by crosses. But Russia has 20 million Muslims. That’s 18 percent of the population,” he said in an interview.

The imam, who heads the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, a major regional association, said he sent the proposal to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and showed a sketch to President Dmitry Medvedev.

Most of Russia’s Muslims live in historically Muslim regions, such as the North Caucasus, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, but there is also a huge swell of immigrants from Muslim ex-Soviet states to large cities.

According to the last published census results, Russia in 2002 had around 14.5 million Muslim residents. The findings on religion declared in a census taken last year have yet to be published.

Tadzhuddin serves at the central mosque in Ufa, the capital of the mainly Muslim republic of Bashkortostan. Russia lacks a single governing body for Muslims, and the council he heads is one of three regional associations.

Russia readopted the tsarist double-headed symbol in 1993. The two heads of the eagle are topped by crosses, and they are linked by a third crown, also topped with a cross.

The Russians adopted the double headed eagle from the Byzantines, one eagle's head represented Rome and the other Constantinople.I hope that the Russians haven't forgotten the origins of their eagle and the very bitter history lesson it teaches.

I'm surprised that the imam didn't demand the removal of the Eastern eagle.

Every majority Muslim nation is a third world dump (and I've lived in or visited many of them), while any nation which has a Muslim minority has a problem - except Singapore.

Singapore is about 15% Muslim. However, there is no trouble from them as the Singaporeans won't countenance misbehaviour. Muslims can be made to behave if the political will is there.

When I was a flight simulator instructor there in the late 90s, the Singaporeans would not have Muslims as pilots in their air force. They were concerned a Muslim pilot might turn his weapons back on his home country if Singapore came into conflict with Malaysia or Indonesia. I do not know if that is still the policy however, I suspect it is.

Odd is it not? Singapore would not have Muslims in sensitive defence posts while we (Australia, NZ, UK and USA) would fall over ourselves to be the first to give a Muslim a leg up into one of our fighter bombers. We don't deserve to survive - and "our" Muslims realise that.

Hey, the number one priority of the American military according to General Casey after the Fort Hood massacre is "diversity". That's what he was worried about, not more American lives lost to devout Muslims following their rule book that General Petraeus insists on calling the "holy" Koran (with the Muslim spelling he adopts like a fool dhimmi). May as well call Mein Kampf or Das Kapital "holy". They're all supremacist manuals.

I'm beginning to think Russia needs to return to a communist dictatorship. Or a tsar. Or something.

FWIW . . .Back in 2006, in a GoV thread titled "The Coalition to Preserve Civilization
Quote: "The Washington Times reports (11/21/06) that Russia is well on its way to becoming an Islamic country. Within eight years (by 2015) over half the soldiers in the Russian Army will be Moslem. By 2020, over 20% of Russia’s entire population will be Moslem.

Another "oldie but goodie" link relating to the Baron's statement, " We can argue about what the cut-off percentage is, but it’s well under 50%, and almost certainly under 25%.Russia already endures more terrorist attacks — mostly by Chechens — than any country in Western Europe or North America. It was inevitable that they would be given the Call to Islam, and now the process has begun."

Adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat.. When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to “the reasonable” Muslim demands for their “religious rights,” they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:
United States — Muslim 1.0%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%
Canada — Muslim 1.9%
China — Muslim 1%-2%
Italy — Muslim 1.5%
Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:
Denmark — Muslim 2%
Germany — Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.

They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. (United States).
France — Muslim 8%
Philippines — Muslim 5%
Sweden — Muslim 5%
Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris — car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam — Mohammed cartoons).
Guyana — Muslim 10%
India — Muslim 13.4%
Israel — Muslim 16%
Kenya — Muslim 10%
Russia — Muslim 10-15%

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:
Bosnia — Muslim 40%
Chad — Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:
Albania — Muslim 70%
Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%
Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:
Bangladesh — Muslim 83%
Egypt — Muslim 90%
Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
Iran — Muslim 98%
Iraq — Muslim 97%
Jordan — Muslim 92%
Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan — Muslim 97%
Palestine — Muslim 99%
Syria — Muslim 90%
Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of “Dar-es-Salaam” — the Islamic House of Peace — there’s supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim:
Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
Somalia — Muslim 100%
Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

By putting the moon below the center cross, muslims will be insulted...

“We are asking for one of the heads to be topped with a crescent moon and the other to be topped with a Russian Orthodox cross,”

Even if muslims demand to have the moon subservient to the cross, I smell a grand deception..
How would that Coat of Arms play in the neo-caliphate?

It's a trap..

Or, he's just dumb and didn't think before demanding recognition of islam's subservience to Christianity..

A liar or stupid.. hard to tell sometimes..

Hypocrite! Muslims never ask for anything.
They demand.
They threaten.
They blackmail.

Imam Talgat Tadzhuddin needs to have a large metal replica of the Russian coat of arms inserted up his most sensitive orifice ... SIDEWAYS.

Preferably sharpened on all edges, thoroughly preheated and at high speed while rotating.

If only Russia could give up the bad habit of being a rival of the US. If Russia, the US and the rest of Islam's targets could be real allies, that would help. Russia should stop selling nuclear technology to Iran. People who think they're doing Realpolitik are more deluded than people who prefer to see the obvious.

The third cross top and center would then logically symbolize the "Third Rome" (Moscow) according to the translatio imperii.

For a few years now, I have found myself -- at moments now and then -- sorely, acutely, grievously tempted to succumb to the fatalism Albatross articulates (whether he meant it only rhetorically or not). Some days, I'm this close to giving up on the West. Hanging on by a thread.

You're absolutely right here. But the general distrust of Russia goes back to 1813, when everyone was stunned to see it was the Tsar's armies marching through Paris, having allowed General Winter to do his work with the previously unbeatable Napoleon.

So, there's a lot of history behind it. But Islam is very good at taking advantage of that old idiom "Divide and conquer". After all, that's what Sharia is all about too.

Then again, we are fighting the currents of history in this regard, tacking against the wind of Islamic expansionism. PC MC means we're supposed to do it with zero sail.

Alas, had we but a steam engine and a paddle!
