The news about the EDL occupation of the Dudley Mega Mosque site has made it into the local MSM. According to the Dudley News:
BREAKING NEWS: EDL stages rooftop protest- - - - - - - - -
REPORTS are coming in that the English Defence League has occupied the rooftop of the proposed site for a mammoth new mosque in Dudley.
The group staged a daytime protest in the town on Easter Saturday to show their objection to the planned new place of worship — and almost immediately afterwards supporters said a return visit was already being planned.
Around 20 EDL members, with their faces covered, are reportedly involved in the protest, which has been advertised on the group’s page on social networking site Facebook.
An eyewitness said: “They’re waving England flags and blaring out Islamic music from a loud speaker.”
Police and fire crews are reported to have arrived at the scene in Hall Street — and have now sealed off the road.
The United British Alliance (a group of football supporters who have been protesting for years about Islamic groups, and is also known as “March for England”) is also reported to be en route to the Dudley Mosque site.
The word is spreading on Facebook. According to one commenter on the EDL forum, “People are just jumping in their cars and going.”
Another comment: “Just spoke to John (snowy) when he answered they had the call to prayer blaring out over the PA system they have there. He said the police and fire brigade are there but have yet to make contact with them.”
And: “It just said on the fb site that the muslims have turned up and also the Luton division are on their way there.”
So the Cross of St. George is flying over the site of the Dudley Mega Mosque. This is very inspiring.
I hope they’re pouring bacon grease all over the place …
I’ll keep you posted if anything more comes in.

"Hall Street remains closed between Trindle Road and Dixons Green while an ongoing protest takes place by a small number of EDL members on the roof of a disused building.
The area has been cordoned off by police and the situation is being monitored, with negotiations ongoing with the protestors."
From West Midlands Police Press Release
Feed's down. Seems the police have stopped them filming in the area.
