Gates of Vienna News Feed 4/25/2012This story breaks new ground: Gerry Adams, the leader of Sinn Féin, says that the new EU fiscal treaty is “Thatcherite”. Mr. Adams made his remarks against the EU while discussing next month’s referendum in Ireland on the treaty.

In other fiscal news, S&P downgraded Argentina’s debt, and Moody’s has warned the Netherlands about a possible downgrade. Meanwhile, both Britain and Spain have slid back into recession, Spain severely so.
