Bulletin From Delaware

I’m posting this on the wi-fi in a Starbucks near the beach. We’ve been holed up in the Delaware backwoods for the last two days, with limited access to the internet.

Today we travel to the DC area, and will be there tomorrow when the big day - what is August 22nd to be called? “A-Day”? “I-Day”? - dawns. I hope we don’t have trouble traveling out of our nation’s capital tomorrow morning…

This part of Delaware (near Millsboro) is associated with the Nanticoke ndian tribe. Yes, they’re “Indians”; no sign of any Native Americans as far as I can tell.

They don’t have a reservation, but they own most of the land in the area. There’s an annual Nanticoke event called the Pow-Wow coming up next month, which I will be sorry to miss.

Posting will continue to be light until tomorrow night. But don’t give up on us! Argue with each other in the comments while you wait…

Good luck and hope y'all are having a fun and safe trip.

I Day ? Yeah...my wife is going to the Netherlands today on business (laid on before all this unpleasantness, and can't be moved)...I am SO NOT happy about that, but on the good side will get a first hand report on matters in that part of the world.

If Iran sets off a nuke, the only response would be for the U.S. to send in - as fast as technologically possible (cruise missile?)- another nuke, and explode it ASAP on top the exact SAME TEST SITE.

First off all, to utterly blow the tunnel-vision minds in the Mahmoud camp. (A kind of poetic "proportional response".)And instantly take the edge of the mullahs' demented "Muslim accomplishment". ("Islamic Bomb", Part II.)

And to immediately show our deadly accurate intentions, should ANOTHER nuke be developed by the theocratically-incontinent ayatollahs.

The lesson: Iran's nuclear program stops, now.

Or the mullahs themselves become targets of covert strike teams until it does. Promising that we will kill the terrorist leaders of this apocalyptic folly, and not simply fiddle with their national "infrastructure" by "limited" strikes. (This tactic has just been proved useless against Hezbollah.)

And we also must send private 'diplomatic' messages, beforehand, to the Iranian "leaders", emphasizing our intention to destroy all "terrorist states", like Iran, starting with their "heads", if try to achieve nuclear arms.

Period.

I favor the message being made sharply, NOW, while a nuke is not yet 'viable' in the hysterical hands of Mahmoud and the mad mullahs.

If the Iranian Shi'ite bosses understand, today, that by 'merely' exploding an A-Bomb they will sign their own death warrents, it could put a damper on their reckless enthusiasm for thermonuclear 'power'.

(A nuke in their hands is like a hand grenade in the mitts of a 2 year old. It's only a matter of time before they figure out how to pull the pin...)

Hope you didn't miss the President's press conf. this morning. It was good, he stammered and stuttered a little but there was not a doubt that he knew the problems and knew what we needed to do.

Don't worry about tomorrow being the "End of the World as We know it", and missing it while your traveling, we are covering it over at Rednecks Revenge, and will let you know how it all comes out.

That is, if the Internet is still working....

Be safe.

Those Indians sound like my kind of folks.

Y'all are hoping? I'm double-extra hoping! I'm in Japan with the Navy-- anything goes down, we head to Okie to get our Marines and be support-deployed.

You're here in the D.C. area? In my back yard!

Well, let's hope that he stands strong in the face of THIS. Saudi's demanding an apology? Oh, brother!
