Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/10/2011

Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/10/2011Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s decision not to resign has energized some of the street demonstrators, who are reportedly moving towards presidential palace, while another group intended to surround the state television broadcaster. In other news, a collection of 200 American silent movies that were thought to be lost — no copies any longer in existence — turned out to have been preserved in Soviet film archives. They have now been digitized, and the first batch has been turned over by Russia to the Library of Congress.
