Expanding on what what H. Numan said last night, our Flemish correspondent VH adds some more details about the blatant bias of the judges in the new kangaroo court that will re-try Geert Wilders:
And now it seems, apart from senior judge G.P.C. Janssen and chairman A.A.M. van Oosten, Miss Boeree is also controversial:
The youngest judge, Ms. J.C. Boeree, is not only a judge in the Immigration section of the Amsterdam Court, but also teaches “Immigration law for criminal lawyers” together with Mr. M.F. Wijngaarden, of the law firm Böhler, Franken, Koppe, Wijngaarden, the same law firm as the lawyers for the complainants, Ties Prakken and Michiel Pestman. [source HVV]
A “banana kingdom” it is, the Netherlands…

What a change from an Orange Monarchy to a Banana republic doesn't quiet with what I am experiencing here
I think the political class has realized in the last few weeks that the tide has changed, public opinion has rosen against them, and they will find some way to absolve him.
If I´m wrong it will send a powerful message, if peaceful discourse is verboten what is the alternative?
I think Wolf Larsen is wrong. I do believe that the verdict has already been decided, a conviction with a lengthy prison sentence. Thus the left and more importantly, their Muslim masters are satisfied.
Tipping points in history, with hindsight are usually easy to find, in the second world war it was al almain for the British for the Russians Stalingrad. Sometimes you can even almost define it to a definite time and place. In the American civil war the high watermark was Pickets charge at Gettysburg, that was the tipping point. Here in Holland it was the end of Geert Wilders first trial. unfortunately the Judges have thought differently. Because they are so divorced from reality they will have to be taught a lesson in the next trial.
"I think Wolf Larsen is wrong. I do believe that the verdict has already been decided, a conviction with a lengthy prison sentence. "
... but Gert Wilder will not end up in prison because of his parliamentary immunity.
Just a thought, but have you considered that the REAL motivation here is NOT to imprison Wilder - but rather to squelch his film Fitna? If the judges rule that Fitna is hate speech then Fitna will be sidelined from European public discourse - and Western society will continue its speedy march to self-inflicted societal suicide as the Koran is considered "religious" whereas Fitna is labeled as hate speech.
Egghead, that may be the case - but what about the unintended consequences. Surely in the case of Fitna there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Fitna cannot be silenced by this kangaroo court or by anyone else.
The film can be viewed HERE.
