Gates of Vienna News Feed 12/19/2012An independent U.S. government panel has issued a report on the terror attack in Benghazi last September, blaming the State Department for multiple failures in providing security and protection for the ambassador and the Benghazi consulate. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she accepts the report’s conclusions, and will work to implement changes in policy.

In other news, President Obama says he will send Congress proposed new gun control legislation within the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, according to The Express, people are leaving the Conservative Party in Britain in droves and joining UKIP.

This "report" is more whitewash and obsfucation by the administration. Congress needs to get these people under oath and ask the function of the CIA operation in Benghazi. If the USA was/is running guns through Turkey to the Syrian rebels, it is under-standable, from administrations point of view, to hide this from the public. To give this kind of operation government protection would blow the whole deal. The public cannot know that we are arming the very people that are trying to destroy this country!
