Judges have called for a strike in protest of the Muslim Brotherhood leader’s edict that made his decisions immune to judicial review. Street clashes between protesters and Mr. Morsi’s supporters continued in Cairo.

In other news, politicians from across the political spectrum in Britain have expressed their dismay and outrage over the removal of foster children from the care of a couple who are members of UKIP.

Meanwhile, Yasser Arafat’s corpse will be exhumed in France next Tuesday as part of a murder investigation into the circumstances of his death.
